The Bennett Pub offers a warm, welcoming experience that feels like a true neighborhood hangout. Originally opened in 1938 as the historic Tudor Inn, it was Surrey’s first licensed pub after Prohibition, giving the space real local character. Today, the atmosphere is cozy yet lively, with friendly staff and a relaxed crowd. Food is classic pub fare done right, paired with a solid craft beer selection—perfect for casual dinners, sports nights, or meeting friends.
Went for a visit after an absence of roughly 2 years. The hot wings were overcooked and amongst the worst i have had in the lower mainland. To add to my disgust was the price which was just ove $19. Three pepper wings at the Keg are $19 and excellent and an atmosphere and environment to match. Sorry to say, the Bennett in South Surrey, definitely not the heart of South Surrey, is not a place im returning to in a hurry.
If you haven't been to the Bennett you're missing out the service is spectacular, the food always comes out fresh and fast. They host lots of events such as triva Thursdays live music and karaoke nights. 100% worth checking out
