Ordered Hyderabadi mutton biryani. Goat was not properly cooked. It was not biryani. It was just like rice and mutton. No hyderabadi spices. It was only salt and garlic. Would never order from here again. The name biryani chef definitely does not suit the type of food they make.

I ordered 2nd time with proper note that kindly help with good food quality rice was good but chicken was like boiled and so tasteless it looks like boiled chicken and I don’t how they prepared also without any fresh jalebi because I was not ordered they add kindly send fresh jalebi we tried to eat but really wastage of time and money

How can one call it Hyderabadi Biryiani when they make it with onions and almonds, there was no fried onions, no gravy. I've had Hyderabadi biryiani in Hyderabad, and this is not it. And 100% always served with gravy and raita. You dont get either.
Second chance, we order the fish pakora. 1 lb. Which consisted of 6 HUGE pieces. Limp and flavorless. The "chutney" tasted of nothing but had the consistency of grass clippings.
Very dissapointing as we live so close. 5 min drive. But we will now order everything from "Friends". I recommend them for this area of the lower mainland. But stear clear of Biryiani chef if you know what good food is.

THIS PLACE IS REALLY DIRTY. LIKE, YOU WALK IN AND IT LOOKS FINE, BUT THEN WHEN YOU ARE WAITING FOR YOUR FOOD THE HORRORS REVEAL THEMSELVES. AND IF THE FRONT WHERE CUSTOMERS GO IS THIS BAD, I CAN ONLY IMAGINE THE BACK. THE LADY AT THE COUNTER WAS FRIENDLY ENOUGH AND I ASKED FOR RECOMMENDATIONS ABOUT WHAT IS NOT SPICY BECAUSE THE DIGITAL MENU CHANGES TOO FAST. I DON'T THINK SHE UNDERSTOOD WHAT NOT SPICY IS VECAUSE MY MOUTH IS ON FIRE! I DID SEE A PART ON THE MENU THAT SAID "NOT SPICY" BEFORE IT CHANGED, SO I EXPECTED MY GOOD TO NOT HURT ME.
