I recently visited The Filipino Noodle Joint and had an overall positive experience, but with a few minor aspects that could be improved. First, the food quality was exceptional. Each dish was beautifully presented, and the flavors were vibrant and well-balanced. From the appetizers to the main course, everything was made with fresh ingredients, and it was clear that a lot of care went into preparing the meal. The attention to detail in the cooking really stood out, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Angelo, the server, was outstanding. His service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and quick to address any needs. It felt like he genuinely cared about making the dining experience special, which added a personal touch that made the meal even more enjoyable. The owner was also incredibly friendly and made a point to stop by our table and chat. It was clear they take pride in their restaurant and care about their customers. This kind of genuine hospitality is always a great sign of a well-run establishment. As for the location, while the restaurant itself was cozy and welcoming, it’s situated in an area that could use a bit more attention. The surroundings might not be the most vibrant, and parking can be a challenge during peak hours. While this is ultimately outside of the owner’s control, it is something to keep in mind when planning your visit. Overall, this restaurant offers great food, outstanding service from Angelo, and a welcoming atmosphere from the owner. If the location improves over time, it would truly make this spot a hidden gem.

Been wanting to eat for some time. The food and service was outstanding. We had the Beef Tapa bowl, Bagnet bowl and Loaded Pares bowl. Simply delicious.

Can’t wait to come back and try the other dishes.

We have been ordering their food for the last couple months and sharing it with our staff because they enjoy it so much and it reminds us of mom's cooking at home. The staff
at The Filipino Noodle Joint are very friendly, professional, and will go above and beyond for a positive service experience.

Everything we have ordered we enjoyed to the last bite! Highly recommend dishes such as the sisig, spicy chicken adobo, beef pares, arroz caldo, longanisa, and sinigang!

We hope the management get to see this review, because they are absolutely killing it with the authentic filipino cuisine on this side of the Fraser River!

Salamat po!

Tapsilog was good and tasty Liempo is dry and tough!! the rice was way too much for the meat ratio. For an $18 silog having 80% rice I would suggest going for somewhere cheaper. Both my partner and i who loves rice couldn’t even finish the rest. Sago’t gulaman was also $9 and filled to the brim with ice so unfortunately I would suggest skipping. Brought my partner who isn’t Filipino and was very disappointed on the Liempo (extremely dry and tough)As a Filipino who loves and eat silogs I would rate it a 6/10 a little disappointed.Spent about $50 for 2 rice dishes and 1 drink. On the expensive side comparing to other Filipino restaurants.

I had a great experience at The Filipino Noodle Joint! The food was delicious, especially the Loaded Beef Pares and Lomi. The Sisig and Kare Kare were flavorful, and the Dinakdakan rice bowl was a tasty twist. Everything felt authentic and well-prepared. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

I came here with co-workers as we heard good things about this restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is huge and they have karaoke.

I ordered the Lomi and my co-workers ordered the Beef Pares noodle soup & Sisig rice bowl. I also ordered the chicken skin dish to share. The dishes were huge portions and very tasty. My co-worker who is also Filipino gave thumbs up for the food and was sad to see that their Vancouver restaurant was permanent closed as he lives closer to that location.

The only small complaint we have is that it took long for our food to come out as we only had an hour lunch. But on their website, they do warn that they will need extra time for preparation so next time we will ask if we can preorder before heading there to save time.

Will be coming back hopefully soon with family. Thanks!
