Been here a few times & never had problems. However the other night we attempted to make an order on UberEats. Our order was accepted & we bundled some drinks along. Then The Henry cancelled our order & promptly closed.
The poor review is due to the fact it takes time for these funds to be returned & it’s not like simply turning away a customer inside. This could ruin a lot of people’s nights & leave them hungry. Luckily we ordered elsewhere.

it was me and my bf’s first time coming, we came in sunday, we asked for waters’s and they immediately asked for our id we are both 19 and one of us didn’t carry their id with us and they kicked us out. She was really rude didn’t even give us a chance to even speak or even mention that only one of us had an id with us. and to begin with this there were 15 year olds there and they were sitting down and eating. i find this environment restaurant so unnecessary we shouldn’t have to get id for waters. don’t recommend this place what so ever.

Wife and I both were delighted by the pork tacos from The Henry at the the new taste of cloverdale fundraiser we even came back for a couple of extra rounds. I wanted to send my thanks to their front worker with the red hair ROMY she was lovely to talk to. We will be back to check out your live music friday and more tacos on tuesdays thanks romy and thanks for henry for giving back to the community!

Excellent service and food was awesome. We went a bit later , almost 10pm, so it was changing to club night instead of just restaurant..but very welcoming. A clean place, great food and servers excellent and a great DJ and music 👍

Couldn't get a drink from staff or at the bar for over 90 mins after the first one. Bathroom in disrepair but there was an attendant there with a tip jar for some reason? The doors didn't even all have locks and she didn't seem to have any purpose and was unfriendly. It was very busy but we had a large group and a reservation, it would seem fair to expect somewhat regular attention. I got one drink total in over 3 hours of being there before I gave up and left.

My God, do not go here.
Music is far too loud for the DJ to be this bad.
Small space, crowded, loud, can't talk to anyone because they can't hear you.
Went here on a recommendation - honestly this place needs to figure it out as of yesterday.
Avoid on an evening out. Other places are cheaper, better, and won't cause hearing damage.

I’m really hoping this review is actioned in some way before the city of Surrey gets involved firstly the AC needs to be fixed the owners are well aware that the club vibe happens on Friday and Saturday nights since Tap house in Guildford closed this is were the youngsters are hanging out - secondly their needs to be more bartenders on those nights you CANNOT given get an alcohol drink never mind a glass of water. Look forward to hearing from you !!

Extremely disappointed by the discriminatory treatment my friend received here. He was asked to leave with no clear explanation, despite being completely respectful and sober. It was clear that he was being singled out, and unfortunately, it felt targeted and homophobic. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially in a city that claims to value inclusivity and diversity. There are plenty of other venues that welcome everyone this is not one of them. I won’t be returning, and I’ll be encouraging others in my community to do the same. Do better.
Kicked my friend out for being gay. I asked the bouncers why he was getting kicked out and 4 bouncers pushed him out for dancing and when I questioned the two big white guys outside on June 27th. They said oh we don’t know “grab gill”. When gill came out I spoke to him and I asked him what happened and he said ONE regular girl told ONE bouncer he was dancing to hard. And 4 bouncers had to escort him out: than I introduced myself to “gill” and said just to be clear we all came together and we are not drunk. And he walked away while the other two white bouncers said just go it’s fine. I took their photos. Extreme disrespect and discrimination for NO reason. And I will be calling the owner. Apperently being gay and dancing with the girls you came with is subject to being escorted out by four bouncers.
