The coffee was horrible, seemed old and bland and the scone was rock hard even after warming it- no flavour and seemed like it was 10 days old. Really disappointed especially after seeing the reviews. There are better shops out there. I left both the drink and scone after 2 bites/sips.

Love the Trees downtown, but this location left a lot to be desired. The coffee was good as was the cheesecake. It wasn't busy yet I had to ask for my cheesecake twice after waiting for too long. Staff was clueless. If this was your first experience with this chain, it would only make you avoid them in the future.

I usually come here because of the nice atmosphere and delicious cheesecake, but I’m really disappointed with my experience today. I saw a fly on the food, and I think they forgot to cover it when storing it. Flies were everywhere in the shop. The washroom was filthy, with poop left uncleaned, and there was no toilet paper. I mean, come on, you charge more for food and drinks than Starbucks, and this is unacceptable. It’s gross—I’m not coming back.

Edit: The quality, taste, and cleanliness have gone downhill compared to when I first came here. I liked it when they first opened. Also, please fix your tables—they keep wobbling.

An over-rated place. I took my family over here after looking at the great reviews it had. However, it wasn't what I expected it to be. Mediocre cheesecake, with sub-par quality coffee, and the room full of university students with laptops and discussions among themselves - it's alright for young people who don't really care much about quality but for us - a young family with kids - it was disappointing.

The first thing my son mentioned after the 1st bite into their new York cheese cake was, "dad, I liked the cheese cake at IKEA better."

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the vibe was barely okay with tasteless bear pictures all around, and the quality of food was compromised with disappointing taste overall. I would not recommend the place to my friends - no thanks!

Very disappointed with the service. Store closes at 11.00 pm and we went for a cheese cake at 10.10 pm. We ordered 2 cheese cakes and the cashier said that the cheese cakes can only be served in takeout box even though we wanted a good dine in experience. Extremely disappointed with the service.

Insane pricing. $11.50 for a SMALL americano and almond croissant? And the americano wasn’t even very good. Never again.

And to top it off the tip prompts start at well over $1.00. The owner of this place is incredibly greedy. They expect people to pay as much for a small americano and baked good as an entire fast food meal would cost?
