Pretty much my go to place since I've moved to the area, I love Umami for the affordable dishes and good food. I've enjoyed pretty much all their ramen options. Their chicken karage is fantastic, especially how much you get as a combo option. Food is delicious, service is very good, and staff are all friendly. I'm glad to have such a wonderful spot for food so close to home.

I was very disappointed with the Salt and Pepper Squid, Salt and Pepper Tofu, and Shrimp Tempura we ordered today! Not only did the flavor differ from before, but I was also consuming almost 85% of the batter. The tofu was so dry that I had to peel each squid apart by hand to find the ingredients. It lacked the delicious flavor I'd experienced before. It was very, very disappointing!

It is an amazing good restaurant. There you could find a range of Asian food. The food and beverage are up to standard. The bonus is the server and the owner couple. The server girl is hard working and smiling all the time, which you feel warm. The owners could also speak well in Cantonese. My parent feel more than satisfied, and request to come twice in their vacation trip to Vancouver this summer.
