Huge thanks to Jagdeep! I called in and came one minute before closing time. He made me feel welcome and let me dine in. Typically, at other Veras, they would tell me to do a takeout. He went above and beyond and made sure I was happy and told me I could stay as long as I wanted to. The food was great, fresh and I never felt rushed. Highly recommended!

We were pleasantly surprised by our recent experience at Vera Burger.Upon our arrival, we were graciously welcomed by the warm and accommodating restaurant manager, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic meal. As it was early in the morning before the official opening,Cajun Veggie burger is a good one to try here.

Food was fine but the restaurant is a mess! Every table was dirty and no one was cleaning them.. people had to clean their own tables, was not even busy. Won’t be back!

Dissatisfied, expensive, and incorrect cooking. Ordered two burgers with a sunny side up egg as pictured and egg came completely broken on two burgers. Staff said that is how they always make it and I asked why the picture isn't of a broken egg then? Fries weren't hot, and special said bottomless fries and drink even though it's apparently just the drink. Disappointed because Vera's use to be great but has gone downhill ( a lot) Atmosphere used to be up beat and lively, prices are whites out and it's dark and sad.

Burgers and fries are the quintessential North American meal. Vera's Burger Shack is a lower mainland based company that makes some of the best interest city.This location in Cloverdale is one of the nicer ones I have been too. The dining area is very open and there are large booths suitable for families.The burgers at Vera's are great. Homemade and not overcooked. I don't think their bun is as good as White Spot or Five guys, but they have fresh fixings and lots of choices.Don't get sticker shock at Vera's. The sides are very large, so usually at least two people can share a basket of fries or onion rings.Also look for the daily specials as a way to get a good price on one of their delicious specialty burgers!If you're a burger person, you need to try Vera's.
