My car. They make all ingredients here and are parent company of O Banh Mi on Kingsway. Two dac biets + coffee $16. Delicious!

Recently told about this unassuming Vietnamese restaurant off Old Yale Rd., split 5 different sandwiches with some colleagues and came to the conclusion that these are the best Vietnamese sandwiches i've ever had! They are fresh, super flavorful, generous and the price is excellent. Really happy to have tried this Deli, amidst a time when smaller restaurants are closing or struggling. I would absolutely recommend anyone in the area to hit this place up for take out, you will not be disappointed.

I'm pretty conflicted about writing this review as I really don't want to see long line ups at this place. I'm not Vietnamese, but I've been to Vietnam twice and even went to the famous shop in Hoi An that Anthony Bourdain visited in his series. There I learned two things: 1) The best bahnmis are the cheapest and 2) Don't judge a weirdly opaque storefront by its cover. I feel so spoiled living down the street from this place - what did I do to deserve such good fortune? Oh and the food - flavourful, fresh, sweet, sour, tangy, crunchy and just plain delicious. Get the fried egg - just get it - it takes the sandwich to another level. And if you're wondering 'which one to order', don't bother - just point and shoot - they're all amazing.

The value for money at this place is out of this world. You pay about $7 for a foot long sandwich that is unrivalled by any chain sandwich shop. I often come here for lunch with my colleagues and always leave completely satiated. Their beef Banh Mi has a perfect amount of kick to it, the bread is always incredibly fresh, and the veggies are always good and crunchy. If you've never had a Banh Mi, don't come here first because you'll be disappointed with anything else.

We grabbed some sandwiches and some pre marinated meat for dinner! Fresh ingredients and amazing flavors.

So good! It's a small place but big flavour! Service is great! Hidden little place but I try to go every time I have the chance. The food is fresh and full of flavour. My favourite bahn mi place, and I've had a lot of bahn mi. One day I will try them all. My friend loves their vegetarian bahn mi. Says it's the best she's had, and I wouldn't doubt it.

Tried Viet Huong recently after recommendation from a co-worker. Staff are very friendly and the subs are excellent. I've tried the grilled chicken, grilled pork, pulled pork, meatball, and special. All are very good. Since my first visit, I've become sort of a regular. Calling ahead to pre-order is great. They have a couple of tables inside if you choose to eat there.

Sandwich's large with generous amount of meat and vegetables and they're only 5 bucks. Staff very friendly and helpful a 10 out of 10. Cash only.

I finally stopped by here to try their food and the menu changed. They no longer served pho or spring rolls, but focused mainly on banh mi sandwiches and beverages. I was looking forward to trying a bit of everything and was a bit disappointed. We ordered a couple sandwiches and drinks. The sandwiches are larger than most and are made with 10" baguettes when I spoke to the owner. The baguettes were made fresh and picked up from Vancouver. I ordered the house special and my date ordered the lemon grass chicken (no cilantro). The sandwiches were tasty. We also ordered mango and durian smoothies and both were well made and tasted as described. This deli also offered frozen ready made meals and refrigerated products. There was a steady stream of customers stocking up on the deli meat selection. I do think this place makes one of the best banh mi sandwiches in Surrey and is worth a visit if you are in the area.

Just found this gem of a restaurant the other day and I've already eaten 3 different kinds of their Ban Mi sandwiches! The sandwich rolls are super fresh and it's crusty on the outside and so soft in the middle. They fill them up with different offerings of meat(Lemongrass Chicken, Garlic Pork, cold cuts, etc.) and a good amount of the delicious pickled veggies and sauce they use. It's a delicious blend of salty, sweet, spice and you get amazing textures from the bread and vegetables they use. The price is ridiculously inexpensive for these at ~$5 per sandwich. Biggest bargain around. They have pho and some other soups and spring rolls but I've only had the sandwiches so far. I am definitely planning on trying some of their other food as well. The staff is very friendly and courteous!
