Today I was popping to grab some poached eggs and hollandaise sauce for my dad struggling with esophagus cancer and was really having a crap day.
Debra the general manager was kind and generous and made my entire day with her sweet offer.
My dad loved his eggs and sauce as it has been over 1 year since he last had it. Thank you again. You never know what people are going through and her lovely smile and kind gesture really meant the world to me and my dad. I am tearing up as I write this.
We have been visiting this location for over 50+years and will continue to do so. We need more people like Debra out there. Thank you!

Nice place to stop by for happy hour in the neighborhood, the appies were tasty and the portions were good.
There’s plenty of parking at the back of the restaurant but the location is not the best.

Restaurant service, beautiful furniture and their successful layout. A white crow among all those cafes around the district. At the same time, it's not that it's more expensive, the taste is normal, but not more.

This place has some great sandwiches. I ordered the Toasted Shrimp Sandwich on multigrain bread, accompanied by The Spot's Side Salad. It was very tasty. My husband's sandwich came with fries that came cold, we informed the attendant and she promptly offered new ones. Rating 10 for the service, we will definitely be back! To go, we ordered the Strawberry Rhubarb Pie and it was simply divine! Just ask!

Pretty good but fish and chips really pricey nowadays for this place. :( unless they make it that high of a price so you order their other dishes.

Tasteless food in coma decor and service is mid at best. The menu is appealing but I have been served rotten lettuce, raw hamburger or had my order messed up at this location too many times for me to not write an honest review as I know most reviews are fake. The fries and onions rings are burnt and the burger I had was tasteless mush. The 'creamy coleslaw' is dry chunky cabbage. This menu is 'old school' comfort food but it is not getting made right at all. I also think not being greeted at the door is cheap. The staff seemed completely new to serving. Overall the prices are crazy, if you want to spend $30 for an average burger or $10 for a milkshake, this is the place for you.
