Lovely ladies served us and were so accommodating to our large group. Wonderful experience!
The cheese spicy chicken is a must-try — super tasty and comes in a generous portion, though it’s a bit on the pricey side. Other dishes were also delicious. Overall, the food here is flavorful and satisfying.
Downtown restaurant price but way smaller portion and low quality. Just saving so much on the main ingredient in general. No meat in bulgogi bowl. No seafood on the seafood pancake. No wonder why it was that empty on the weekend. apparently it is already in the downfall 😐
good!
The service and atmosphere were great. We loved everything we ordered and wished we had more time to try the BBQ.
Came here with my partner. I wanted a healthy meal in the area and bibimbap sounded good. Even though it's in the name, I didn't expect there to be grills embedded in the tables. Cool! I haven't ever used one and I wasn't about to try (but I will one day).
Upon looking at the menu, I decided I wanted to try the Bulgogi Deopbap and my partner got the Pork Bibimbap with house spicy sauce.
We were served three little appetizers with our meal, which I was not expecting. Kimchi, potato and zuccini on the side, each with their own sauce. They tasted so good. I've never had kimchi so good, in fact. (Please give me the recipe or brand! lol)
For the main course we were both really impressed. Super delicious. I would come here just to have it again.
As for the service, the servers were present just the right amount. They weren't neglectful nor did they interrupt the dinner too much. Very pleasant and great service.
The food is way over priced but good. I could have gone to a different Korean bbq place and not get charged that much. The food is tasty there. You’re paying for an arm and a leg to eat here. Do NOT recommend and won’t be coming back here again. I ordered the pork and got two small pieces.
This was my first time eating Korean food and I enjoyed it! The waitresses were so kind and talked us through the menu, giving good recommendations and feedback, really fine tuning it to make sure we enjoyed it. If you’re looking for something to help your wallet, don’t come here. I believe this was a little too overpriced. As someone who doesn’t eat spicy food, it’s hard to find something that doesn’t fit that category, but don’t worry, I think the spicy food is worth it.
We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Woo Korean BBQ House in Surrey. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. There’s a genuine warmth here that’s hard to find elsewhere. They greeted us with big smiles and took the time to explain the menu thoroughly, which was really helpful since it was our first visit.
The hospitality stood out immediately — the servers checked in often, not in a rushed or intrusive way, but in a way that made us feel cared for. They patiently answered all our questions about the different cuts of meat and marinades, and even gave us some tips on how to grill everything perfectly at our table. It felt like they really wanted us to have the best possible experience.
The quality of the food was excellent. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. The selection of meats and side dishes was generous, and the flavours were fantastic.
The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, making it a great spot for both family gatherings and casual dinners with friends. Clean, well-ventilated, and with a modern aesthetic, the restaurant adds to the overall positive experience.
Overall, Woo Korean BBQ House is a standout for both its food and its exceptional service. We left full and happy, already planning our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable and welcoming dining experience!
not as good as Korean restaurants in Burnaby

One of my FAVOURITE spots in South Surrey. I always go for their bbq, but the individual dishes I've tried are delicious as well! I love that they're open later, since I can go enjoy their food after the usual dinner rush (with more kids, young families, etc). From my experiences the service is almost always so attentive and above and beyond, but if you are there while they are the busiest, sometimes you do have to flag servers down - the table dividers can block the view of servers being able to see you and they get super busy! It's a great place for bigger groups too, because you can get a bunch of bbq to share and various types of korean dishes. Food is phenomenal, I always have a great experience, and I recommend it to all my friends! If you have never tried korean bbq, this is a great spot to try it out (they can also explain how it works if you ask!)
Good food and a good service
Generous portions. Will definitely recommend!
Great food, good menu.
Very disappointed, got food poisoning after eating there, suffering serious diarrhea. Not recommend.
