First time at a Korean BBQ restaurant and all I can say is wow! Our server Julia was so amazing! She taught us the basics on how to do it. Food was amazing. Drinks special were amazing! And again Julia was amazing! Will definitely be back!

Generally korean restaurants in BC are good. But this one is the worst. I ordered two of Yangnyeom galbi ($48.99 x2). The beef was so chewing that I couldn't even swallow them. The beef sauce was not good either. Try to avoid that.

My fiancé and I were greeted and told only a short wait. We watched tables clear and other larger parties who came in after us were seated. Made eye contact with staff multiple times and eventually just left as no one would come over or update us on the wait time. Disappointing as I was excited to go.

Food was good and overall the experience was enjoyable until the very last few minutes.
I want to clarify that times are tough for many people. I also work in the service industry and I’m very aware tips are not mandatory and it’s just a nice bonus when a client does tip. Especially recognizing times are tough and some people spend there very hard earned money. I’ve personally been through a few hardships recently and saved specifically to come here to celebrate something with someone special. I was admit I really wanted to treat myself and my bf as it’s what I could give.I was really looking forward to it. I was happy to support the restaurant despite the following
Our bill came to $119 and I paid $120 in cash. The server said the bill was $120, I confirmed the money was there, and then she seemed confused and implied she was expecting a tip. She later came back asking if something was wrong with our service, which made the situation feel uncomfortable especially as it happened in front of my friends. Everyone thought it was very off. Maybe not so much the action itself alone but more so the facial expression and energy, the way it was done in the situation.
After the interaction, the server began whispering to and speaking with other staff members while pointing toward our table. This happened right in front of us and made the situation feel very awkward and unwelcoming. As a group, we all felt uncomfortable and ended up leaving immediately once the bill was paid because we no longer felt welcome.
Tips are not mandatory, and while the service was okay, it felt very average food was brought out, drinks were served, and we waited a bit before being able to pay. Offering extra sauce was appreciated, but overall the experience didn’t feel above and beyond, especially since we cooked the food ourselves.
Being made to feel pressured about tipping and then feeling talked about openly took away from what had been a really nice night. I hope this feedback helps improve how situations like this are handled in the future so guests feel respected and comfortable until the end of their visit.

A great place to gather friends and family. We were greeted with smiles and served with positive attitude. The hospitality was amazing and all questions were answered accordingly.
We had the Grill A (for two)
Which included: prime marinated beef, short rib, triple a beef, brisket, and pork belly. The complementary side dishes ( Kimchi, veggies and tuna, were a perfect amount. ( I personally loved the tuna with corn)
We loved cooking on the BBQ which would’ve been the major highlight of the evening. There was good ventilation for the BBQ - so no smoke.
We will definitely be coming back.

This is definitely my new favorite restaurant. Their kimchi jjigae is amazing, and their beef bibimbop is also amazing. You can’t go wrong at this restaurant. Plus the service is phenomenal.

The food and costumer service are amazing!! Food came quick and everything was hot and fresh. My boyfriend and I get treated like family because they offer you more portions of the side dishes and they’re super considerate. I’ve been here multiple times and I’ve had Sundubu Jigae, Galbi Tang, Stir-fried Squid Deopbap and my boyfriend had Dak Gang Jeong Deopbap and the Korean fries chicken. Their food never disappoints

Great tasting food. I am not Korean cuisine expert so i can’t comment on how good it was. Amazingly friendly staff. We didn’t have to wait for our order long.
