My wife order to-go pork BBQ and pork liempo before we went grocery shopping at HenLong. Paid $14.64. Did not realize it was for 1 BBQ stick and small thin size of pork liempo. Both were tasty - nothing great. Definitely those we tried from Vietnamese restos taste much better than what we had here. Food quality was no where near what we paid for. Saw other patrons eating their order in a very crowded space. Hope they got their money’s worth. Cuz we didn’t.

Their food display looks yummy . I ordered fresh lumpia but was not happy with it, fresh lumpia is supposed to be with lots of different veggies but theirs was only jicama (singkamas), carrots and chick peas, wrapped in lumpia wrapper with sauce, that’s all! For that order, I’ve waited for 45 minutes for one lumpia, so frustrated.

Hidden gem at Hen Long grocery. I decided to try a meal while waiting for the wife as she shops. Tried the “Sizzling” lechon belly and pochero. Lechon belly was tasty however it wasn’t as advertised as sizzling when I got it. Nonetheless, the food is delicious and that’s all that matters. Service is good. I’ll probably eat here again if ever we stop at this grocery.

I decided to try a meal while waiting for the wife as she shops.
