This was such a charming and charismatic place to find lodging. We were really lucky all of Smithers was booked so we were able to find this quaint little business with small town charm and hospitality.
The handy work that went into building this beautiful inn was well thought out and professionally finished. The price was unbeatable too.

I did not stay the night, I only stopped by for lunch. Lunch was fantastic. I had homemade mushroom soup with a side of homemade sourdough. Now I'm not one to usually go for sour dough, but this was the best. My friend who regularly visits says they always have a different selection of soup each week, and they also have a whole coffee set up that's really good, too.

Favourite lunch or coffee cafe in Smithers/Telkwa. Amazing soups, bread, baked goods, and coffee with excellent service at reasonable prices.

Beautiful inn, my husband and I had a wonderful, relaxing and romantic time here. The building itself is beautifully crafted, and full of art and thoughtful details. We just stayed for a night on our way to Prince George, but its worth a longer stay. Cute cafe too!

Really cute place to stop for a treat ! All homemade and out-of-the-ordinary ! We had ricotta cake with fresh rhubarb sauce...delightful !! Lemon-lilac scones were another offering. Also, prices were reasonable.

A wonderful place to grab a treat and a hot drink if you catch them on the days they're open. Try the homemade soups that come with a piece of fresh baked bread and fresh butter. Truly a hidden gem.

A great place to stay. Full of character and a very welcome change from bland hotels and motels. A good location right by the river. Excellent rooms. We recommend.Rooms: Fantastic room. We booked the Rinkside room, which is probably the largest but all will have the same character.Walkability: Nice walk along the river and round the small town. No shops or restaurants. Main facilities are 15km up the toad in Smithers.Food & drinks: Good self service breakfast.Noteworthy details: It's a great place to stay if you want somewhere a bit different with some character.

Lovely quaint little spot, quality baked goods and child friendly. Local honey and coffee beans as well, highly recommend.

I didn't eat here but I stayed the night. There are so many nice touches to this place, including guest shoes individual French presses, fantastic roasted on the site coffee, and extremely comfortable beds. The water from the top is delicious, and the location on the river is sweet. On the other side of the river, but I never heard them all night, and when I heard the trains during the day it was not offensive at all.
