“It has been about 8 months since I was last in town and we stopped in. The food was to the White Spot expectations. However this time the service was surprisingly poor. The server was observed several times texting or scrolling rather than checking in with us. I had wanted my drink refilled and a condiment but alas my patience was not rewarded. I did wait longer than I wanted for my desert but I believe she completely forgot. I then found her and requested the bill and reminded her about the dessert. I told her I now wanted it to go, as it was too late to be the only one left at the table eating. Perhaps she was having a bad day. Next time I will interrupt my mean to find the server to make sure I have what I want/ordered.“
