OPA! of Greece Skeena Mall

Had a really disappointing experience at OPA!

The first time I went, my fries smelled and tasted like fish. When I brought it up, the staff member argued with me instead of helping and insisted there was nothing wrong. I wasn’t offered a replacement or refund, even though I had just spent $15.

I decided to give them another chance, but the second visit was just as frustrating. I ordered two shrimp skewers and asked for a boxed apple juice. I was initially given a bottled juice, and when I pointed it out, it was swapped—but there was no acknowledgment of the price difference or any reimbursement. I was also left waiting while another customer who ordered after me received their food first.

To make things worse, the same staff member was giving me and my 2-year-old uncomfortable looks while we were waiting, which felt very unwelcoming. When I finally got the food, the shrimp skewers didn’t even have the proper seasoning on them.

Overall, the customer service was poor, the food quality was not what it should be, and the experience felt dismissive and uncomfortable. I won’t be returning.

They didn’t give me any potatoes in my opa plater and they forgot a few things in my meal they just gave me extra salad and no potatoes and didn’t even tell me they were out of potatoes very very disappointed don’t go here if you like potatoes because you will be disappointed. Oh yeah also my fries weren’t fully cooked.

Opa has good value meals at an affordable made to order treat. The staff at Skeena mall are efficient and professional. This is super important when you are Hangry🤖

All I can say is wow! The gyro pita was amazing. Crisp fresh lettuce! The taziki was super tasty. The calamari was incredible and tasty. The baklava was comparable to a resto I ate in Crete last month! Super happy I took the plunge and ordered! Will be ordering more and more from here! Thank you for a great meal!!! SETON, Calgary AB

Counter at Metrotown Mall Food Court The order taker Simran is a pleasure to deal with! Very pleasant mannerism and clearly does her job well. Love the food and the service is great.🙂 Most people eat out for a pleasant experience and not just to fill their stomachs so an impressive employee like that is important.

Opa Northgate, Winnipeg. Didn't issue receipt. Dirty tables, chairs, floor and washroom. Staff always inside the kitchen.

This place is my favourite option for a quick-service, hot & fresh meal. Their prices have stayed relatively low compared to what you receive in a meal- I’m not paying a lot more now than what I was paying nearly ten years ago. I never leave hungry, the food is always delicious, and staff are very kind and efficient. I’ve seen the same faces working here for more than a year and that usually signals to me something is being managed well! Cannot complain, I will always be a lifetime customer of Opa! Especially impressed by the Terrace location, thank you for consistent service at every visit.

Looks a great place to organize an event

I've never been disappointed with the food or service here. It's a more healthy fast food option in this area. I like the lamb skewers, wraps and OPA platter.

The restaurant staff is friendly and courteous. Food was tasting good with fresh ingredients. It was my first time and I liked the restaurant. I would come back again for sure and would recommend to anyone in search of some healthy food. Keep up the good work Opa!!

These people will try to rob you when ordering the mega combo. it is advertised that extra skewers are 1 dollar which I have ordered in the past without issue, they tried to charge 4.75 and 1 dollar and refused to correct the mistake. Last time I ordered 4 extra skewers and it cost me 4 extra dollars plus tax this time I ordered 4 and it would have cost me 23 dollars beyond the over 15 dollar mega meal. If these disgusting thieving people take your order make sure you do math
The woman behind the till was unable to explain why the extra 1 dollar skewer that is advertised is being charged for 5.75 I and my family left without any buying any food.
