We have been here twice, we love this resort. We had Browns Socialhouse, the burger was great and my husband had the Alfredo which he said that was really good also. Sam that works there has really good customer service, really polite and friendly. Way to go Sam, we need more people like you. :) Hope to see you guys again soon.:)

Had very little expectations of the place because of previous Browns social house experience in other cities but this one takes the cake. The atmosphere just behind the front desk of Best Western Tin Wis was completely unexpected. Beach front views and warm lights. The food has to be one of the best I've had in Tofino and I lived in Tofino for many years and left just before they put this place in. 5/5 stars.

Went in last night and was super impressed. I do NOT like browns in Victoria but gave the tofino location a try and was truly not dissatisfied. All the food was hot and delicious. The staff were super wonderful as well.

Brown's Social House is a great Tofino alternative, especially when many of the higher-end restaurants are super busy. It's a wonderful setting on the ocean front and the food is good and moderately priced. Lots of choice of salads, burgers, and pizzas. Oh, and they have a few BC craft beers on tap, including their own IPA and Tofino Brewing Ethereal IPA which is my favourite. The sunset over the surf from their deck is an added bonus!

Kid-friendliness: It's not on the menu, but ask them for their kids specials. My grandchildren loved the teriyaki chicken bowl and our wonderful waitress gussied up the free kids drinks so they looked like pretty.

Glad this place is now open in the Best Western Resort.
We had dinner here on our most recent visit to Tofino. Perfect location. We had had spent a couple of hours taking sunset pictures on the beach and then headed in for a late dinner as the last of the sunset colours faded.
Our server was very good. We chatted a bit with her about her Aussie or New Zealand accent(can’t recall which it was, sorry) and found out how she ended up in Tofino.
My pizza was delicious as was my wife’s Southwest Chicken bowl. And the prices were reasonable for Tofino.
All in all, a great place to eat and wonderful that it’s right in the resort.

Food was great, drink was great, ambience/atmosphere great but this is largely to let you know about the formidable asset that you have in Sam at the bar (she may also have been shift leading but I am not certain about this.
Basically, what I want to convey is that I am a hotel/restaurant manager by trade and I love to be blown away by service and tonight was my lucky night. I came in sheepishly to watch a ballgame at the bar and wasn't sure about actually wanting to do that but with the warm welcome and professional service provided by Sam confirmed that I had made a great decision to choose Brown's. Her personality, her product knowledge, and the ease with which she provided service to me and to her fellow crew members are really impressive.
I hope that she continues to thrive in this crazy sector and for now it seems that she loves doing what she does. I also hope that you are the type of organization who recognizes and celebrates and rewards excellence. Highest possible Kudos to Sam at Brown's in Tofino. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

Try to call to see if we can have dinner, the phone message says check online. Try to check online and that says use yelp waiting list that doesn't exist. Show up only to hear the patio is closed and that's the only place we can sit with our dog.

You should answer your phone, have a functional reservation/waitlist that includes dogs or perhaps just care about serving your customers.
