“This is in a bit of an “out of the way” location but it was excellent. The beer was good, the atmosphere was excellent. There are two patios and lots of space inside. We ordered chips and a soft pretzel and it was good. I recommend!”

“If you’re anywhere near Tofino, do yourself a favor and stop by Wildside Grill — seriously. My family and I went there for lunch today, and everything about the experience hit the mark. The setting alone is worth it — laid-back, coastal vibes with that fresh ocean air that just makes food taste even better. Now the food… absolutely unreal. We ordered a mix of items — crispy chicken burger, smash burgers, fries, gravy, and kids chicken strips — and every single thing was cooked perfectly. The smash burgers were juicy and packed with flavor, the crispy chicken burger had that perfect crunch, and the fries with gravy were next level comfort food. Even the kids’ meal was solid, which says a lot. You can tell they care about what they’re serving. Simple menu, done right — no shortcuts. Between the incredible food, quick service, and beautiful atmosphere, this place easily stands out as one of the best spots we’ve hit in Tofino. We’ll 100% be back. 🔥🍔”

“One of our favourite coffee spots we tried during our stay. The coffee was smooth, creamy, and really well balanced without being too acidic. We also thought the prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality of the coffee.

We really loved how intentional they are with everything. You can tell there’s a lot of love and care that goes into what they do, not just with the beans and the coffee, but even in the little details of the cups which were so cute!

Unfortunately, the cashier wasn’t particularly welcoming when we ordered, but the barista who made our drinks was the complete opposite, really friendly, bubbly, and welcoming. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back!”

“An amazing dinner in the most incredible setting, I was there with my family for dinner in July 2026. My kids are young at three years old and eight months old but the staff and everyone in the restaurant made us feel really welcome. The service was amazing and the food was incredible.”

“The čukʷaa haʔuk Cafe which is pronounced as CHOO-kwa ha-OOK is located on The Clayoquot Campus and located within the Naa'Waya'Sum Gardens.

What really stood out to me though was the passion and passion Chef Lisa Ahier had for her food.
I didn’t realize when coming here that Chef Lisa was actually on Dragons Den in 2020. Though I didn’t try her Chowder, sadly, I heard her Wild Salmon Chowder is amazing and definitely worth a try. I personally got the Polenta Fries and a Latte with a Vanilla Shot and holy, they were both great!

I had a chance to talk with Chef Lisa briefly and she is very kind, passionate and sticks to her values which is very admirable. She mentioned that she makes sure her employees get a living wage and she puts quality over quantity, which many don’t do in businesses.

“Yes it's expensive. What were you expecting? You're in a tourist town in Canada where minimum wage is a livable wage and property taxes are higher than Mt. Everest. They wiped an outdoor patio table and chairs for us so we could sit outside with our dog. All the staff were super attentive and friendly. The design is very nice and the view is spectacular. If you're in the area and are wanting to go to an upscale place, stop looking, you've found it, it's here. Just go, you'll love it”

Our server Emily in the restaurant was amazing, as was all of the staff we came across. Look forward to finding my way back there. I miss it already.”

“We dined twice at browns while staying at Tin Wiz in Tofino. Food is delicious with a beautiful beach view. Dragon bowl has way more veggies than what i get when i order it at other places which was so nice. My husband loved his chicken burger. I felt our server on day 1 was bit rude (could be new and overwhelmed as it was bit busy). However, our day 2 experience was incredible the gentleman (host) was so nice and polite. 5 on 5 for food and view”
