“Recommended by friends, then told by a First Nations historian working on campus that the salmon chowder would change your perspective on life ……..so we went for a late lunch today.
Salmon chowder, cornbread and polenta fries. All absolutely delicious!
The service was friendly and welcoming!
When I went to pay the bill, I asked where the tip function was on the machine. The response was “ The whole world has gone tip crazy we thought we would take a break”. Honestly these are the type of workers I want to tip, but I was assured by our server he was well paid!

“One of our favourite coffee spots we tried during our stay. The coffee was smooth, creamy, and really well balanced without being too acidic. We also thought the prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality of the coffee.

We really loved how intentional they are with everything. You can tell there’s a lot of love and care that goes into what they do, not just with the beans and the coffee, but even in the little details of the cups which were so cute!

Unfortunately, the cashier wasn’t particularly welcoming when we ordered, but the barista who made our drinks was the complete opposite, really friendly, bubbly, and welcoming. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back!“

“This is a really awesome spot to hunker down and productive while having a really spectacular view of the ocean. The coffee is really great and the atmosphere is superb. Also, all the staff are very professional and polite. Again, I would one hundred percent recommend this spot if you want to grab a coffee and hang out for a while!!“
