“Wonderful, elevated dining experienceFood & drinks: We booked a dinner in April 2023 while visiting Tofino and unfortunately a power outage meant weren't able to go, so this was our redo.Amazing service, amazing food. I had the plant based chef's tasting menu.Presentation was immaculate, whimsical, and fun. 11/10. The staff are warm and attentive, and make you feel like you are a cherished and welcome friend and they made the meal especially for you.Everything is so delightfully imaginative and creative. It is not just going for a meal, it is a whole experience. Highly recommended!One caveat, the food is highly satiating and delcious, so if you have a small appetite, the 3 course dinner may be a better choice than the chef's tasting menu. After snacks, starters, main, palate cleanser, dessert, plus wine and a cocktail, I am still full 12 hours later. My partner, who has a much bigger appetite, was completely satiated.This restaurant deserves the accolades. It is truly an elevated experience.”

“The perfect place to have breakfast.The food is delicious, the Bennys are great.The French toast is awesome.The place is small and cozy.We had to wait a little to get a table but it was worth it.A little expensive but again is worth it.Service is good and kind but it could improve.Totally recommended.”

“Cheesus, a street food truck located on the central street, Peninsula, of the ocean village of Ucluelet, has a name & zany vehicle which catches one’s attention immediately. Then the flavors of its delicious sandwiches capture one’s taste buds. It also offers good value. Cheesus is definitely one of the food trucks to visit in Ukee, as the locals affectionately refer to their town. “The sun was shining. Great eat outdoors on a picnic table. Fresh cod with a light batter. Omg I haven't had fish like this in a very long time. Totally worth stopping again and again ?”

“A small cafe under the brew pub with excellent quality drinks. Fast and friendly service. It’s take out only, but there are a few chairs on the outdoor deck to enjoy your coffee on sunny days.”

“I used to work in this place when it was a Cafe in the 70s. I love it way better now! Great people, great food! Atmosphere is very much improved from when I worked there.Vegetarian options: Yup. They have em.”

“Blown away. The gateway sandwich is hands-down the best chicken sandwich I’ve had in my life. Chicken is perfect juicy and flavourful with a thin, tasty batter that completes the whole thing. Bun was perfect with just the right amount of condiments and veg.We were going to leave the area today, but I think we might just stay another day…Would give 6 stars if it was possible.Parking: Enough for 20 cars in the park, more on the street.”

“The Floathouse Restaurant (FR), which, as its name denotes, is literally on the water in Ucluelet’s alluring marina.April is the month it reopens after a long close over the colder months, as is the custom with a good number of Ukee eateries. “We came a few times during our stay in Ukee. The atmosphere is very relaxed and good place to chill out for a few hours. Good drink options. Food was good for brewery. Nice outdoor views of the water.”

“Locals and visitors. Excellent food. Most genuinely friendly people. I hardly ever write reviews but Frankie's deserves one. The best burger and fries I have had for years. They do not cheap out with the bacon. Burger patty was f'ing delicious.and the fries.. so excellent. I'm starting to salivate as I think about it. Person next to me had clam chowder..It looked amazing and I could tell he was loving it. I'm going again before I return from my vacation. Worth every penny.”

“The restaurant staff is super friendly and helpful.The food is good and has a good variety of foods. The portions are quite large.The place is decent and they try to make it fun since it has a small arcade, air hockey table, foosball, pool tables and although I didn't get to see it apparently they have a live music stage”

“Absolutely delicious! We had smoked codfish tostada and the Chadzilla burrito (which was enormous btw) - both unbelievably good and totally worth the price. Quick & friendly service too, shame we have to leave Ucluelet so soon again.”
