“We booked The Pointe weeks in advance after receiving some fantastic recommendations, and it was well worth the visit. The restaurant is very popular, so booking ahead is definitely advisable. We also had to change our reservation several times due to other activities during our trip, including at short notice, and the team were always lovely and accommodating. That flexibility was much appreciated!

My biggest recommendation is to go during daylight hours if you can. The setting is absolutely spectacular, and visiting around sunset on a clear day made the experience even more special. We were lucky enough to enjoy beautiful weather and watch the sun go down over the ocean. Although Tofino is famous for storm watching, seeing it on a calm, sunny evening was equally memorable. You simply wouldn’t appreciate the surroundings in the same way after dark.

Service was welcoming and friendly throughout. We opted for the five-course tasting menu, ordering our wines separately rather than choosing the wine pairing. The food was really good, with the mushroom and duck dishes being our particular highlights. Portions were just right, leaving us satisfied without feeling overly full.

Overall, a goof dining experience combining a beautiful setting, good food and lovely service. I’d highly recommend it for a special occasion or anyone looking to enjoy one of Tofino’s most memorable restaurant locations.“

“If you’re anywhere near Tofino, do yourself a favor and stop by Wildside Grill — seriously. My family and I went there for lunch today, and everything about the experience hit the mark. The setting alone is worth it — laid-back, coastal vibes with that fresh ocean air that just makes food taste even better. Now the food… absolutely unreal. We ordered a mix of items — crispy chicken burger, smash burgers, fries, gravy, and kids chicken strips — and every single thing was cooked perfectly. The smash burgers were juicy and packed with flavor, the crispy chicken burger had that perfect crunch, and the fries with gravy were next level comfort food. Even the kids’ meal was solid, which says a lot. You can tell they care about what they’re serving. Simple menu, done right — no shortcuts. Between the incredible food, quick service, and beautiful atmosphere, this place easily stands out as one of the best spots we’ve hit in Tofino. We’ll 100% be back. 🔥🍔“
