It is a cash only place, so go prepared. Highly recommend their vegan stromboli and any pastry! They have 3 plant based milk options for drinks: oat, soy and rice, and their peanut butter square and cocoa quickie were amazing. We also liked the vegan hummus sandwich (loved the caramelized onion inside). Def recommend it!

Pretty cool place and the upstairs was nice and had a beautiful view. Partner ordered the loafer breakfast and loved it. I got one of their sandwiches and it was good. Potatoes were not my favourite.

I am appalled by how rude the staff here is. Not sure if the owners praise this kind of behaviour based on previous reviews.The cashier gave us attitude, didn’t say hi, welcome or thank you. Even when I said thank you, she ignored me.And they overcharged our friends, didn’t give their change properly and were super rude about it.I ordered a mocha and the taste was so bland - no sugar and I literally saw them top it up with cold milk.Would not suggest coming here at all.Plus they’re only cash which is such a scam in 2024. Obviously this place is a tax fraud.We visited at 2pm on Saturday January 20th.Extremely disappointed as we wanted to support a small local bakery

Not only did they charge me $13.80 for 2 matcha lattes, when the sign clearly says $4.80 each. I told the cashier it should be $10.08 and she said $4.80 plus tax.I am a cafe owner myself and was flabbergasted that she thinks I’m stupid enough to think tax was 40%.I told her no, tax is 5%. $4.80 x 2 + 5% = $10.80She re did it and charged me $12.30Gave her a $100 bill and she only gave me $80.70 back instead of $87.When I asked her, she double checked thinking I’m lying. Rolled her eyes, gave me attitude and just rudely handed the cash.I have never had such a terrible experience at a cafe in my life.The cash only thing is also very sketchy. Would not support a local business that is doing tax fraud and scamming customers.

Nice tasting egg, meat, tater and bread breakfast. Many other baked good here as well with the breakfast pizza being very delicious. Prices are good. Cash only here and Cibc is the only bank near by.

We have spent a lot of quality time in the cafe. The people at the till seem genuinely happy to be alive. The food is made fresh to order and always exceeds my expectations. And the coffee... Best cup I've found in tofino!
Very tasty breakfast! Even though it smells a bit too garlicky, the atmosphere is great and authentic. We went straight back for breakfast there because we felt comfortable and were full at a very fair price. By the way, only cash is accepted.
