Wow. Just wow. The set menu with wine pairing was so good. The olives were hands-down the best I’ve ever tasted. I want to go back just to have the olives! A really great spot with excellent food and great service. What’s not to love?

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with a vibrant and inviting atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service was very slow, and the staff didn’t offer much communication while we waited. The duck special arrived overcooked and slightly burned, and the tasting menu portions were quite small, lacking both flavour and creativity.

We were stunned by the passion of the Chef. Every course looked absolute fantastic. And it tasted amazing with a fresh combination of herbs and unusual combinations. A tasty firework for a fair price. The staff was very friendly and at the end they gave us a second dessert on the house.

Visiting from the mainland and this was a fantastic first place to eat visiting Tofino for the first time!
I ordered the potatoes with paprika aioli and the Bucatini alla Carbonara. The potatoes were delicious! Both crispy on the outside and pillowy and steamy on the inside; paired well with the rich aioli.
The Bucatini alla Carbonara was rich and creamy. I’m thankful I ordered a cider to pair with it because it was able to cut down on the richness.
My dad ordered the grilled albacore tuna and the tuna was cooked wonderfully!
I highly recommend visiting Ombré and ordering either dish!

One of the best restaurants I have ever dined in. Natasha (I believe that is her name) provided amazing service and was extremely warm and welcoming.
My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary and they made it so special for us. Food was extremely flavourful and well prepared. The cocktails were definitely a highlight for me, amazing bar!
To add to this I am writing this review almost two months after we dined in. If that shows anyone how memorable and worth while this restaurant is take it from me, definitely give ombré a try!

It was OK but really nothing exceptional although it did promise greatness. Food was fine without being exceptional. Service was a little slow (maybe because they were busy and we were outside) but they said our drinks were complimentary so perhaps they recognised our situation.

Ombré was an exceptional dining experience. We went during happy hour and shared several small plates, lentil Hummus, rockfish crudo, bread, olives, shishito peppers and the ling cod. The flavours and preparation were excellent. Our server, Natasha, was knowledgeable about the dishes and made our experience even more enjoyable. We’ll be back!

Been here 4 times now. Once for dinner (amazing flavours and incredible handmade pasta), once for breakfast (best coffee you’ll get in tofino), and twice for happy hour (best deal in the area). Very good food. They have a decent natty wine list and sell natural (and other) wine to go.
