My 7 years old son & I arrived early as it was his first Tofino experience . OMG ! I had an amazing stay at the Hotel Zed even though the power was out (in all of Tofino) for two days and the roads were closed. They handled the situation well and even had board games in the lounge. The best!!
Nice hotel but the restaurant is understaffed. The front desk said it wasn’t busy for dinner but when we arrived the waitress asked if we had a reservation. We did not but she proceeded to seat us and then we experienced long delays to get our drinks and poorly prepared half cooked pasta and pink burgers. We watched the kitchen staff slamming food together clearly under high stress. The whole production was chaotic and the manager was as frantic as the staff.
