Across the board an overall solid experience. My wife and I went here and got the tuna burger and it was quite good!

Can't understand the rating. The burger is expensive for a burger you'd get at a kids t ball game. Delicious 2 oz frozen patty and fries for $20+. The menu is so confused. Asian bowls and vegan and some pub grub. It's really a let down.

$12 for less than a cup of ice cream to go. Ordered a sundae to go and couldn’t even fill the small cup. Go to DairyQueen and you could get so much more in a blizzard for this amount of money. The sundae was good but not even close to worth the amount of money. Shed please learn to not rip people off.

At the table next to me a local inhabitant of Tofino asked about the tacos. Upon hearing that the woman who made them was not there at the moment she jokingly demanded the waitress should go out and find her…I had to try these tacos. It turns out they are Barbacoa Brisket tacos.
I am not a full on hater of brisket but I have just been ever so slightly traumatized by restaurants where the barbequed demanded a past filled with good dentistry. I can assure you that the brisket I ate had been cooked to that level of perfection where the fat is rendered liquid and leaves the beef soft, succulent tender slivers of flavour. The crema is barely contained on the beer-coaster sized fresh made tacos and eating these tacos while not missing out on the sauce was near impossible until my waitress told me the trick is to just keep dipping the taco on the sauce covering the wax paper. Like being a kid again. These are superb Barbacoa tacos in the Mexican tradition and eating them will fill you with satisfaction.
Side note: The thing I liked most about the Shed is that they leave whole windows open to the elements. I was lucky enough to be trapped inside by the soft but unceasing rain. The smell of the fresh rain mixed with the uncomplicated perfection of the meat and crema while the full cut of “Freebird” played on the speakers was “a moment”.

Nice bar to grab some tasty food and a few drinks. We had a portion of tacos and burgers - both were delicious. And as I absolutely love margaritas, theirs were decent too. Friendly and efficient service. The terrace is great as well, especially on a sunny day - enjoy a drink and watch the world go by.
