Really sorry-sized portions for the price - Tacos and orzo bowl. Nothing special at all in terms of flavours - menu sounds interesting and unique but doesn’t come together all that well. Great vibe, that’s what you pay for really. Service is subjective so won’t comment on that.

Such a fun bar! When we visited, it was heaving with people and the staff were busy, but it was still possible to get a seat and enjoy the beach vibes. We had cocktails which were well made and refreshing before heading to a restaurant nearby. Notably, this seemed to be the most popular venue in the whole area.

bowls are so great for something fresh when you’re tired of eating out. the burger was awesome and fries were so good and crispy. the Barbacoa tacos were so good, I think the tortillas might be house made and were so yummy

“DELICIOUS!!” - is what my sister said probably 15 times during the meal, especially about the Shed burger (their speciality) and the Mayan picnic salad. Tofu bites were OK but maybe a bit too crispy. We also love the outdoor patio seating area and the general good vibes. Recommend!

I’ve been coming to Shed every time I’m in Tofino for years and have always appreciated the relaxed vibe, great drinks, and friendly staff. That part hasn’t changed. The service is still solid and the atmosphere is welcoming.
However, the new menu didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The Mayan Picnic was under seasoned and felt a bit bland, and the chicken burger seemed thrown together. The bun was squashed and the overall flavor lacked the usual attention to detail.
With so much fresh seafood and local ingredients available, I would love to see the menu return to more regionally inspired options. Shed has always had potential to stand out, and I hope future updates bring back the quality and creativity that made it a go to spot.
