At Shelter, the real draw is the location, which offers an excellent view of part of the harbor. Among other wildlife, we saw a sea lion and a number of bald eagles during our visit. The food options are meager but tasty enough: the Tofu Surf Bowl can be made vegan by removing the spicy yoghurt.
Great place to dine! Very welcoming with great service from the moment we arrived. Varied menu, with good kids menu too. Food was delicious - best chicken burger I've ever had! Lovely location with great views :)
Highly recommend coming here for a meal in Tofino. My husband and I came and had the halibut and salmon and they were both by far the best dishes we have ever had. To top it off, the view of the harbour is amazing and we saw an eagle hunting for scraps from a fisherman nearby. Go and walk around the docks at the harbour after.
