Worst experience ever. This place is a joke. I spent nearly $120. and the food was nothing like the authentic Indian cuisine I was hoping for. The butter chicken was bland and tasted like it was from a can. The rice was cold and clumpy, The customer service was horrendous and the staff seemed completely uninterested in us. If you’re looking for a great Indian meal, this is definitely not the place. What a waste of money.

I had high hopes when visiting spice hut but unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.
The food was incredibly disappointing—completely lacking in authentic Indian flavors. The dishes were either overly salty, bland, or drowning in oil. The naan was burnt, the curry tasted stale, and the rice was dry and seemed reheated.
The service was even worse. It took forever for someone to take our order, and when they finally did, they seemed indifferent and unprofessional. Our food arrived cold after an unreasonably long wait, and the staff made no effort to rectify the situation when we complained.
To make matters worse, the restaurant seemed poorly managed. The place was untidy, and it felt like they didn’t care about their customers at all.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. don’t waste your time or money here.

Worst food ever. The only thing i like is garlic naan and other than that everything was waste of money. We spent $150 and the customer service was worst. The server was very annoying and rude she was just ignoring as she was forced to work there . i think owner needs to train their staff properly. Place is very dirty and may be needs the Health inspection as their food smells bad and old.
So if you want to save your money eat somewhere else but don’t visit these guys.

The food was delicious and yummy! We went with family including kids. All of loved the menu as well the food. They had variety in flavours and every dish was really tasty.
While taking food TO GO, we requested for an additional raita which they refused. They could have charged us additional for that but they flatly refused. That ruined the mood for the day. It is what it is.

Good food, but the service could be improved, as could the cleanliness of the bathrooms.

My husband and I had dinner at Spice Hut twice during a week long trip to Tofino. There are tons of great restaurants in Tofino so this is saying something!
We had the chicken tikka masala, which was rich, flavorful and creamy and had a lot of meat in it! (So depressing when you order a curry and it has 3 cubes of chicken in it).
Service was super friendly, prices are really reasonable, and the restaurant has a great view of the water. If you are a fan of Indian food, definitely come by when youre in town!

Great address!!! Best Indian food I've eaten, Shrimp Tikka and Chicken Tikka, just succulent. The garlic naan is also very good!

Delicious dinner...warm and spicy, just what we needed after a long drive on a cold Wed. night!!
Vegetable samosas were stuffed, full and hot with crunch on the outside. I think they were the nest samosas I have ever eaten.
Butter chicken, med hot was yummy and naan bread crispy and chewy.
Seriously perfect dinner.
We're here two more days, just might get another order of samosas!!

Hour and a half wait for 2 dishes. Food was unsatisfactory in taste, freshness and quality. Very dry. Would not recommend.
