We were looking for Indian food on a quiet February afternoon in Tofino and that’s when we came across this place. We were the only patrons at that time and hesitantly ordered Dal Makhni and Kadhai Paneer. The food was DELICIOUS! Kadhai Paneer was out of this world. The hostess was warm and pleasant. It’s a blessing to have this good Indian food in Tofino. I would highly recommend this place. Do try their Kadhai Paneer!

We went to have our lunch there . We ordered shahi paneer and naan . The food was very very good . The server named Kamal was so polite and helpful . On knowing it is our wedding anniversary she gave us a chocolate as a gift from her own grocery.m . Request to the owner please dont let her go . She is very polite and a quick server . Her gesture really touched our hearts . Will surely be coming back .

I found the portions quite small in comparison to other Spice Huts on the island, plus the prices are much higher.Overall, pretty average considering how good the Spice Huts are in other regions.

Excellent little restaurant almost hidden in the center of Tofino. Excellent and copious cuisine...a delight.Missing a list of wines and an atmospheric decoration which will allow you to raise the bill even better. But if the essential thing for you is on the plate, don't hesitate, it's perfectParking: In front of the restaurant

Reasonable prices, friendly service, and very large portions. For Indian food in Tofino, it was much better than expected! We would return.

Spice Hut in Port Alberni is a culinary haven that deserves every bit of its five-star rating. The "Kadai Chicken" was a flavor-packed masterpiece, evoking the vibrant tastes of India. The portion sizes here are generous, ensuring you leave fully satisfied. Their fresh, crispy naan is the perfect accompaniment. This commitment to catering to different dietary preferences is commendable. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, with tasteful Indian decor enhancing the dining experience. The attentive and knowledgeable staff add to the overall charm.Thank you Anmol for the recommendation ??

Amazing food and great service from the server. I would definitely suggest to try their authentic Indian food. Garlic Naan adds value in the meal. I tried Daal Makhni and Karahi Paneer with Garlic Naan. That was amazing. 10/10 rating.

To start with the only positive experience is the guy who hosted us around 5.30 pm on 27th November 2023. We visited this restaurant as we had a great experience the previous day from their Port Alberni branch. Overly unsatisfied with the very pathetic and arrogant service from the girl who took over the service. Sorry ma'am you really gave us one of the worst service ever had. The food was way unbalanced with the blend of Masalas and wasn't fresh at all. Very dirty washrooms and even the dining area had spider webs around. I am not sure if that's something needs the food safe inspection. In short, we paid more for the same dish that we had from their own another branch a day before for the worst taste, service and atmosphere. $10 extra for a bad service? Oh my god!

Food is decent. When they first opened up, the chicken tandoori was 16.95 before tax and tip, it's now 24.95, which, to me seems a significant jump in price. So, even without naan (which is now $5, instead of 3) a meal for one came to over $30.... Seems high for a takeout/franchise, also all their prices on their website are hugely inaccurate. I realize the cost of things has gone up, and Tofino has the "Tofino tax", but if I'm going to spend that much on one meal, I'll choose something else next time.
