We had the most incredible service and quality of food!! Probably the best wings I’ve ever had, and our other food was also top notch. Our server was AMAZING, so attentive, accommodating, and after learning I was pregnant proactively asked about certain ingredients to make sure they were pregnancy safe (so hugely appreciated!!). Establishment was spotless, and atmosphere was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend Bear - we will definitely be back!

Nice resteraunt with kind service and good food. I do miss the summer specials in thr winter months, but it's always a good option! (Also tasty cocktails)

we know why they made a show about this place. from the moment we walked through the door, we knew this place was special. our server Jay was awesome as heck and such a cool person to chat with, helped us choose some great beers. the burger was mind boggling, the fries were what fries dream of being. burgers everywhere should question whether they deserve to share the title “burger” with the maq burger here! trivia rocked, excellent vibes. if we hadn’t had enough fun already Jay surprised us with a scrumdiddly dessert and the manager brought us some shots too! if you are in tofino and you don’t go here you may as well have not gone.

our whole group was thrilled with our food, the Mac burger, chicken ballotine, and chicken wings, but the chicken schnitzel sandwich was outstanding!!!

The team at Maqs Bierhaus (The Bear) are killing it tonight. It’s busy due to the Hockey game, the food and beer is flowing. Thanks Heaps , had a good time.

Amazing food, had the oysters, flatbread, and schnitzel!! EMILY WAS THE BEST SERVER EVER!!! We had the best time she made our experience ♥️♥️♥️ stomachs are full in the best way. If you wants good food and even better service this is the place to go :) as two folks from Ontario checking out the area to move, this restaurant made us feel more than welcome. From Emily, to the chefs, to who greeted us at the door, we had the best experience!!

The outdoor patio parties in the summer were the best 😍😍

Food and drinks: The food here was absolutely delicious. I’m a foodie and The Bear Bierhaus did not disappoint! The vibe was fun, the service was friendly, and food came fast. Highly recommend the flatbread appetizer if you have a bit of an adventurous pallet. The steak and duck entrées we would definitely eat again. Wish we lived closer - we’d be back often!

Amazingly good food! I already expected the great selection of beer but it was the food that blew my mind. Perfect steak and the best creme brulee I've ever had.
