After reading reviews we were excited to get some fresh fish during our camping trip. We hit fish markets pretty much anywhere we can so maybe our expectations were a little higher than they should have been. Some fresh items but a lot less than we’ve seen other places, lots of frozen and some local products. We picked up a seafood sauce which we went to use later on in our trip. Sadly, it seems it may not have had a proper seal on the bottle and the contents were rancid smelling...
This is the absolute best store for seafood. I always get the cold smoked salmon. It is the best I have ever had. It is delicious, not too salty and buttery soft. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it. I also love the candied salmon. My favourite treat!
I stopped by and picked up some beautifully smoked salmon along with fresh local shrimp, and it absolutely made my wife's day. The quality was outstanding - you could tell everything was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. The smoked salmon had that perfect balance of smokiness and rich flavor, while the local shrimp were sweet and tender.
