This morning we did a walk-in for brunch at The Pointe restaurant. Everything from the seating area and food offerings, to the service and atmosphere, was 5 stars. A very special thank you to our server, Rose, who saw our fascination for the building design and took time to educate us about the history of the building and its construction, as well as her recommendations to view other areas of the Wickaninnish Inn to see more of the beautiful interior (go to the wine cellar and the library!). We will definitely be back.

The Pointe is a worthy stop during your trip to Tofino. The food was incredible, service was perfect and the view of the waves from the restaurant is like no other in Tofino. We visited for brunch in December 2025 and could see the massive waves hitting the rocks. I ordered the lamb shakshuka and I would recommend sharing because it’s very filling and hearty and shared the fried chicken sandwich which was bursting with flavour.

We're from Port Alberni, and love doing day trips to Tofino/Ukee, starting our day with breakfast at The Point restaurant at the Wick. Yesterday was another excellent meal, and Sally was again a five-star waitress: annyeonghaseyo Seeyong. We don't often get there during peak season (unless we have visitors), but we'll definitely be back. Also, I like that I can slow charge my ev there while having a wonderful breakfast.

I called to try to make a brunch reservation for a special occasion, after being put on hold for over 10 minutes I was told by the manager they didnt do reservations for parties of less than 4, there was 3 of us. It’s not a crazy big request to accommodate and I felt they were pretty short with me over the phone. I just wanted to surprise my fiancé with a special brunch. A little kindness could go a long way. Pretty disappointed.

The Pointe Restaurant at the Wickaninnish is one of those rare places that lingers long after you have left. We visited in November, and months later we’re still talking about our experience, hence this long overdue review.
Our service and our server were immaculate. Attentive without being intrusive, polished yet warm, the interactions were thoughtful and effortless. Timing, recommendations, and overall care were handled seamlessly, allowing the experience to unfold at a relaxed pace.
The setting is spectacular, with sweeping ocean views. This is service done right, elevating an already exceptional setting and Hotel. A memorable dining experience and absolutely worth the visit.
Such an amazing meal with a special custom birthday menu prepared especially for us. Food was incredible and the service equally amazing. Nothing but excellence all around at this restaurant.

From being greeted at the entrance to the hotel, the servers, the food, everything was top notch. To top it off we had the pleasure to storm watch on a great afternoon. Will definitely be back.

This is a 5 star restaurant, from the gorgeous entrance, warm welcome, attentive service and sommelier. Their menu matches any big city upscale restaurant, however… I found the food so much fresher! Almost all local ingredients used, so delicious!!!
