This is a 5 star restaurant, from the gorgeous entrance, warm welcome, attentive service and sommelier. Their menu matches any big city upscale restaurant, however… I found the food so much fresher! Almost all local ingredients used, so delicious!!!

A local recommended The Point as the best breakfast place in Tofino. And yes, it is an experience. Of course, the location and view is priceless especially if the coast guard is adding a bit if color to the scenery. However, the whole team reminds you in everything they do that your are there for a 5-star experience and not (just) for the view. Thank you. The food was delicious, the service excellent and adjustments to individual preferences done without a blink. Thanks for a wonderful start into a Tofino day.

The great mysteries of life, the nature of consciousness, the purpose of life, the meaning of love, and largest of all, why doesn’t The Pointe restaurant have a Michelin star? In all my times dinning here, never once have they failed, and the fact is, it keeps getting better. Every moment from beginning to end is perfection. I’ve had, and on this trip, had again meals that live on. The ingredients, the balance, and the inventiveness are testament to the passion for food that doesn’t just sustains, but moves you. And the staff, not only attentive, but friendly, but never overbearing. Always ready, and not just a single server, but each and every member of staff. It almost feels like you are the only guest.
So yes, I love The Pointe. While the Torino area has some great dining choices, it will always be the pinnacle.

Amazing views. You can watch the waves and sufers if you remember to come early enough. It was late October so ensure you come at least an hour before sunset!
The food was good. I had the tasting menu while my wife had one of the 3 course options. All dishes were plated beautifully. However none of the 8 dishes we tried were amazing. They did not illicit any excitement for my palate nor did I finsh any plates and wish I could have more.
If the flavour of the food matched the aesthetic of the dishes and ambiance of the restaurant, the prices would be expected. However, this place definitely leans hard on the ambience.
Came for brunch and had the salmon rosti, which was delicious. The view and atmosphere is unparalleled. Service was excellent as well.

The chicken sandwich with kimchi was so delicious — I still remember that meal! 😋 However, the burger wasn’t great — the patty was quite burnt.
Overall, you have to visit this place for the view alone — it’s totally worth it! 🌅
