We enjoy visiting this spot after hitting the distillery up the road. It’s got warm and down to earth vibe with plenty of seating on the main floor or upstairs, board games and non-alcoholic options. Of the couple times we’ve visited, service can be a little hit or miss. Beers themselves are also fine. Tap handles are often out.

We came with our dog and sat on the back patio (there is one patio in the front and one in back) There are no heaters in the back but we had a warm sunny day so it was fine! Beer and service was great! We would come back on our next visit!

Tofino Brewing is a must stop on your way to or from town. They brew a beer for most tastes but the one I love, as does my girlfriend, is the Ethereal IPA, a hoppy slightly citrusy brew that refreshes after a long day on the water or the bikes. Toki Doki, housed in an Airstream trailer in the parking lot cooks up perhaps the best Kaarage-style chicken I have ever had. The oyster balls are worth trying too, if you like Asian sauces. And I didn't even know oysters had balls!

Beer and atmosphere are alright. Unfortunately, their system for running a tab needs work, though. They hold your card to start a tab and they awesomely gave my card to someone else so for the rest of our vacation we had no card and I had someone else's so they were probably also without one. It seriously hampered the rest of our trip as our bank is out of the province. You guys need to be way more careful with peoples bank cards if you're just going to give them away. It seriously affected the rest of our honeymoon trip.

There is both indoor and outdoor seating. It's quite a large space so we found a table even though it was very busy when we visited.
They have a good selection and I enjoyed all the beers in my flight, especially the stout.
I went there so that I can eat my lunch from next door. Surprisingly the beer was really good! The guy who helped us was very knowledgeable and friendly. He chose the beer for us and we really enjoyed.

Beer lovers from anywhere should definitely visit this place when in Tofino. Be sure to order a Flight of Beer, which allows you to sample four different brews of your choice. We opted to sample eight, as there are 13 beers on tap, ensuring a well-rounded tasting experience. You can sit outside, but sitting indoors offers a great view of the impressive brewing kettles.

I truly think this is the greatest brewery of all time. If I had to drink one beer for the rest of my time, it’d be the Ethereal IPA. So damn tasty. Vibes in the taproom are spot on, food truck outside is unreal (fried chicken bowl FTW), and they are dog/kids/NA friendly. What more can you ask for? ?
