Not sure if it was just an off day for the kitchen, but the cod fish on the fish and chips was on the dry side. Fries didn’t seem fresh. Their fryer seems to be needing a good clean and new oil.

We are from Washington state and visiting. Tried this place for a lunch stop after hiking and I ordered the cod burger. Best thing I have eaten in my entire life. Hands down amazing!!! Must place to eat if you are in the Tofino area.

They have 2 tofu bowls now and then the veggie burger is listed as not vegan. I didn’t ask why. I ordered the Korean tofu bowl and it was good! Not the best, that’s for sure, but it was still good. They were having issues with whether on not this was vegan. But long story short, just confirm with them that they make it vegan (even though it’s under the vegan sign I know… I think they were confused and/or this is a new sign idk)

They don’t have beyond anymore. If you want a vegan burger, it needs to be without the patty, cheese, etc., so bread with veggies

Came to Tofino on vacation, did some research and decided to get dinner from Wildside Grill. Checked the hours and it said they were open until 8pm. We even looked at the menu and decided what we would order... drove to the location and there was a lighted sign with the hours (confirming that they're open every day 11am-8pm), and this was a Sunday around 5... but there was a cardboard box with the words scrawled on it to inform prospective customers that they're closed until Feb 15!? Very disappointing and unprofessional.
Get some....update your hours, very sad your not open today...:(

Wildside Grill in Tofino is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, the laid-back, west coast vibe set the tone for an amazing meal. The seafood is incredibly fresh – the fish tacos were perfectly seasoned, and the fish & chips were cooked to perfection. Moreover, I loved the crispiness of Korean chicken, too.
The menu has a great variety, catering to both seafood lovers and those looking for other delicious options. The portions are generous, and everything is packed with flavor. The staff was friendly and efficient.
The outdoor seating adds to the charm, making it a perfect spot to enjoy great food in the heart of Tofino. If you’re visiting the area, Wildside Grill is a must-try. Can’t wait to come back!

Wildside is a gem amongst the pod of food trucks and shops. Often less busy than other spots in this area, service was super quick and their menu has extensive vegetarian options.
I ordered their salmon burger and it was fresh and perfectly cooked. Their fries are also the extra crispy, double dipped kind - The best kind!
