Always a wonderful experience. Can’t recommend enough.

We’ve been coming here since it opened years ago. It has always been one of the highlights I look forward to every visit; I booked weeks in advance. Sadly, this will be our last visit. The food, which used to be stellar, is not even a fraction of what it used to be. Only one of our 5 dishes could even be called decent. With so many options in Tofino/Ukee now, it’s just not worth the stop.

Service is polite, but rushed. They seem most interested in turning over tables.

Cocktails and the overall atmosphere still hold up. Maybe stop by for a drink at the bar before eating elsewhere.

We ate a delicious burrata with apricots.
The tenderloin was not good, the cumin sauce was too much, so many flavors together, not in harmony. Great service.

If the weather is good, the outside deck is amazing to eat something as you watch the Harbour. We had drinks and nibbles, watched a bald Eagle fly by. Sealions in Oct!!

Tuna was nice to start, burger was good, halibut was bang average (especially given the price). Atmosphere / environment was really nice though

We were a group of 3 and got quite a few dishes, I included pictures of the Charred Humbolt Squid and the highly-recommended Baked Tofino Halibut. Other food we got was Potato Crusted Oyster(love the textures), the secret menu Daily Pasta Special (Ravioli-super filling, although a bit too salty fir my taste), and the Low Hanging Fruit cocktail(super refreshing!). The Halibut was my favourite, it was filling and had such depth of flavour.

The service was exceptional as well, they were very helpful with their recommendations and knowledge of the dishes.

We ate indoor on the bottom floor, and the vibe was very laid-back and casual. The washroom is also kept quite clean, which is a plus.

Great place to celebrate a honeymoon, for special occasions, or just to have some fancy food.

We recently dined at Wolf in the Fog while visiting Tofino. My husband had the steak and really enjoyed it – it was well-cooked and flavourful. The sides that came with it were also delicious and thoughtfully prepared.

Unfortunately, my own dish, the mafaldine duck pasta, was disappointing. While the duck itself tasted fine, the pasta was dry, lacked sauce, and overall felt bland. I was hoping for a more balanced and flavorful plate, especially given the reputation of the restaurant.

Overall, the experience was mixed – some great elements, but the main I had didn’t quite live up to expectations.

The appys & dessert beat out any of the mains. Too bad.

For an area where the seafood is so good and fresh, the kitchen here works really hard and succeeds in smothering all those wonderful flavours in cheap oils and creamy sauces.

If you really like the taste of fish, scallops, oysters, best avoid.

Nothing vegan on the menu but we got a gift card so gave it a try. Called ahead and they said the chef could make us something. Ended up having some tasty mocktails and the chef made me a fiddlehead pesto pasta. It was decent but probably wouldnt return tbh unless they added more vegan stuff, but I really appreciated the flexibility.

There is so much hype around this place that made me really want to give it a try. The food is good- but not exceptional or memorable in any way. The mocktails are extremely overpriced for what they are. I ordered The Orcle and it was nothing more than just lightly flavoured soda. While the dishes are unique in their own way, they lacked depth and flavour. I can’t necessarily say the service was bad- it was fine. However, it really lacked that warm and friendly Tofino service that is common at most places in town. This place screams city vibes rather than a small coastal town feel.

Fantastic experience. The menu was creative, food was beautifully plated and delicious 😋 the potato crusted oyster was a highlight and the cedar sour, a twist on the whiskey sour, but we enjoyed everything we tried. Prices are high but we felt it was worth the memorable evening in a lovely space
