Nothing vegan on the menu but we got a gift card so gave it a try. Called ahead and they said the chef could make us something. Ended up having some tasty mocktails and the chef made me a fiddlehead pesto pasta. It was decent but probably wouldnt return tbh unless they added more vegan stuff, but I really appreciated the flexibility.
There is so much hype around this place that made me really want to give it a try. The food is good- but not exceptional or memorable in any way. The mocktails are extremely overpriced for what they are. I ordered The Orcle and it was nothing more than just lightly flavoured soda. While the dishes are unique in their own way, they lacked depth and flavour. I can’t necessarily say the service was bad- it was fine. However, it really lacked that warm and friendly Tofino service...
Fantastic experience. The menu was creative, food was beautifully plated and delicious 😋 the potato crusted oyster was a highlight and the cedar sour, a twist on the whiskey sour, but we enjoyed everything we tried. Prices are high but we felt it was worth the memorable evening in a lovely space
