“Small town bakery, providing big town style and quality. Coming from a big town like Toronto where I can pick the best of 75 bakeries in my neighbourhood, you might be tempted to "lower the bar" a little when travelling to northern BC, small mining town, trying to be a wilderness tourist destination (btw...it succeeds on all counts, but that is another post). Great flavours, great creations, great people. Now how can I get them to franchise in downtown Toronto? Both savouries and sweets are tasty. I can personally vouch for the puff pastry, tomato cheese savouries plus numerous other sweet treats. Final question...how can a croissant outside of Quebec taste this good? In addition to the numerous friendly patrons and staff. I have to recommend the famous Donut Fridays...I'm not a big donut fan until this visit.”

“Small cozy atmosphere. Not too many people, lacked socializing being a new person in town. Pool table is in great condition, just no challengers. Maybe next time. The one staff member was friendly and polite. Prices were great, less than expected. I hope to visit again with friends next time.”

“Taking into account how many staff was lost from graduating and/or just quitting the owner is doing a fantastic job keeping the ship together. The food has always been great and it is a great place to eat if you want to read or do homework.”
