I can't really complain about the food. It was good. I would suggest not going here on Monday. Freaking madhouse because other places for breakfast are closed on Mondays.
Way to much furniture inside. Barely enough room to navigate the place or even pull a chair out. Front door swings inwards, makes me worried in case of an emergency.
I thought I ordered three hot drinks but when I asked they only had input two of the three. Sigh. Madhouse, with a line all the way to the door. Food delivery and drink delivery at different times and a very small window for pickup. A bunch of people were waiting on orders in the corner as they kept accepting new orders. Way too many people inside in my opinion. I felt uncomfortably claustrophobic in this chaos.

We make sure to stop at the Barkley Cafe everytime we are leaving Port Alberni. It is rare to find quality food and drinks like they have! Portion sizes and options available have been well thought out, and are delicious. Location is convenient if you are towing anything and dont want to navigate downtown. I would hughly reccommend if You are looking for a fresh, healthier food option.

Great quality and reasonably priced coffee. Cold drinks were not too sweet, but hot the right spot in balancing the added flavour and the flavours of the coffee. Baked goods were also nice. Service was swift and friendly

Love the vibes here, upbeat, casual, coastal cafe. They offer a lot of different coffee, tea options. It was pretty packed when I dropped in, seems liked by tourists and locals alike, my coffee and sandwich was very tasty.

The regular drip coffee + English muffin is an absolute must! Got a great vibe inside and the food and service is great. Came here twice for the exact same thing and it was just as good the second time! Bonus for a bathroom that actually looks pretty nice as well!
