For the price ($40pp) I expected the food to taste good. Pulled pork was dry and seasoning is very one dimensional. I can make better tacos at home. Really disappointed.

In Ucluelet, I had one of the best food experiences of my life at Flaca’s Tacos. I’ve usually had bad luck with tacos, but here I tried the fish taco and it was simply phenomenal – the best taco I’ve ever had. The flavour was unforgettable, something I’ll always remember. I’d recommend ordering 2–3 to really enjoy it, you’ll be licking your fingers clean. On top of that, the service was excellent and delivered with a smile. Absolutely worth a visit.

LOVE! Tea is amazing, fish taco was my favourite on the island. Thank you 🧡
Easily the best tacos in BC. We came here as we were leaving, and immediately regretted not coming sooner. The lingcod fish taco was extremely tasty (and not fried), and the carnitas was al pastor style and so flavourful. We'll be coming back to Ucluelet just for these tacos.

Much better than the other taco place in town. Got the fish x 2. Shell wasn’t great but the fish was bang on. Would rather it was a fresh soft corn taco but ah well. Good enough for out here!

It was a rare sunny day in Ucluelet when I chanced upon this gem of a roadside taco stand. As a former professional chef, I can be pretty judgy about these types of movable kitchens, but approaching the service window with a cheery greeting from within I saw an impeccably clean and well organized space. The chalkboard menu was simple, and the food... INCREDIBLE! The pulled pork Flacatchos, were inspired, a pico de gallo, pickled onions, fresh cilantro, feta ,house made sauce, original combinations in a not your usual melted crappy cheese soup nacho way. My companion had fish tacos with locally caught ling cod. Also to die for. The house made hot sauce was so good I went back to the counter to buy two take home bottles. Everything was washed down with wonderfully cold Mexican coke and an incredibly delightful home made hibiscus and cinnamon flavoured cold tea. 4 picnic tables complete the al fresco dining experience. Easy to miss the location on the peninsula highway, but you should ALWAYS stop here. Many gluten and dairy free options. My only regret was not taking a picture of the food.

Went past this unassuming taco truck and had the best grilled fish tacos of my LIFE.
We travelled Canada for 2 months this summer and couldn’t find any meal to come close to these. UNREAL.

We had lunch plans at another dine-in restaurant in the area, but I really wanted to try this spot given the great reviews and so glad I did! The grilled ling cod tacos were insanely fresh and delicious, with a nice Cajun-esque spice to them. The gals in the food truck were cutting up the fresh cod they got that morning from their supplier. Wish I tried the hot sauce and more menu items. Definitely give this spot a try when you’re in the Ucluelet area!

Super tasty food! Service was quick and staff friendly. Cute set up on the main street on a corner. Price on par with all food places in the area-expect to pay a bit more. Would eat here again.

Straight up 11/10 food. We got the nachos with half beans and half street corn and I could die happy. Best nachos we’ve ever had by a long shot. The tacos were absolutely phenomenal too! So so good.
