Pluvio restaurant and rooms

I can't wait to go back. We usually go twice a year as a treat to ourselves, and we missed our spring trip this year. I think about it constantly. I think I've eaten there at least twice a year since they opened actually and it's still so special every time. The food, service and drinks are like nothing else I've ever had. I would never think to concoct such delicate, yet robustly flavored food but I sure appreciate eating it. We love to stay at the rooms too when we can!

The chef's tasting menu was fantastic! I was lucky to sit at the chef table next to the kitchen and it was so much fun to see cooking at such a high level. The food itself was phenomenal, creative, utilized a variety of ingredients (prepared in multiple ways), and I loved all the natural flavours like the smoked salmon with spruce flavours, the smoked sturgeon with apple, and the crispy sablefish with mushrooms in different forms (still thinking about the crispy fried mushrooms!). The lamb belly dish was nicely spiced and gorgeously plated, the addition of quince to the waffle with cheese and truffle was a beautiful addition, and the carrot cake dessert with sweet, salty, and slightly bitter miso caramel, and then also combing hot with cold sorbet was fantastic. The other little surprises like the homemade bread and butter, the hot broth, and the little post-dessert sweets were such nice additions too!

Andy was a fantastic server-- warm, welcoming, professional, friendly, with great recommendations and that took care of me. The same is true for all the other staff, including chef and the whole kitchen team-- amazing job guys!

This review is in regards of the rooms: spectacular. so comfortable, the couches, the bed. Extremely clean, quiet, a little piece of heaven. Very welcoming, they even give you everything for breakfast and coffee and a sweet little treat. Centrally located.💯 would recommend

Travelling and experiencing a variety of foods in a variety of settings is something my partner and I frequently enjoy doing. The food and the service at Pluvio rank at the top of anywhere we've been before, including Michelin-starred and Michelin-reommended restaurants. Every bite was beautiful and exceptional. We were seated at the bar, which appeared to be for special guests (it was my 40th birthday celebration) and allowed us full view into the small but highly efficient kitchen, including having one of the friendly, knowledgeable chefs explain what was happening in the kitchen and answer any of our questions. We are not from this area but absolutely plan to return to Pluvio, as this ranks as one of the best food experiences we've ever had.

Had the best dinner of my life at Pluvio! Accommodating of my gluten allergy - so much was gluten free naturally so I didn’t feel like I missing out. Service was exceptional, food was incredible, and the zero proof wine pairing rounded out the five star experience.

Love this place. The food is imaginative and delectable. Most ingredients are sourced from the island. The staff are attentive and lovely. They made my partner's meal celiac friendly. Highly recommend. And thank you Pluvio for an amazing evening!

We didn't stay with Pluvio but can only imagine that every care would have been taken. We stayed elsewhere but dined with Pluvio. There are no words I could muster to accurately and fairly describe our dining experience. Anything I could say would fall short. It is an incredibly unique and curated experience that entertains, entices, and delites in every moment. 10 stars! We can't wait to return!

What an experience. Every course was spectacular. The flavors, the ingredients, the presentation were flawless. One of the best meals my husband and I have eaten. The waffle with cheese and truffle and quince was literally life changing. I have never tasted something like this before. We booked already a reservation for tomorrow night as we need to take advantage of every opportunity to dine in this restaurant. PS the service was also perfect.

Dinner was nothing short of phenomenal. Super creative, Delicious , fresh and beautiful. A beacon of amazing food in the beautiful wilderness. We finished dinner and booked a dinner again for the next day. Amazing service and amazing experience. Dinners like that are making all the bad and mediocre dinners worth it.

Loved eating here- each course delicious and thoughtful. We're not big foodies but this was great fun and service. The hum dog was unique and excellent. Salmon and pork courses stood out as well. And the waffle thing and dessert. Would go back anytime out there on the coast.

Was a great dining experience! Our waitress was kind, knowledgeable and accommodating! The food was very unique and though they are small plates there is a lot of courses. We got the wine pairing and it was very nice. It’s something I would recommend everyone do once.

Just wonderful, my wife and I don't normally splurge on food like this but it was totally worth it for a treat. Each dish was well balanced and just worked so well together, I wish I had taken a photo of the menu to remind myself of what we had though. The cocktails we had were also amazing. All in all a great experience.

Rarely do I enjoy every single bite of every dish, but here, we absolutely did. Sat at the bar with Katie leading us through an incredible dining experience. Just watching the staff working with purpose and ease, was so much fun.
