Stopped here for lunch/dinned on my way to tofino after a very long drive. Was craving french fries and they delivered! I had the poutine; fries were perfect, put plenty of cheese curds, and gravy was veggi and gluten free! My Mom whos been a chef for 30 years, got the tuna tacos, and said they were the best tacos shes ever had! Her friend (vegan) got a veggi chili dog, and was very satisfied aswell! Very small place but definately stop there if you are able! Worth the 5 hour drive!

In town for a stay cation , prefer to skip the busy season , and wanted a ukee dog. The lady with pink hair working the front was very rude , told me she hates when customers ask for recommendations after I asked which hot dog was most loved …? Seemed like she did not want us to be there, we were interrupting her working on her crafts that were sprawled across the front counter. We ended up ordering two hot dogs which somehow took over 30 minutes to make . I come to Ukee at least once a year but will not be coming back to Ukee dog. Lots of other options around with nice staff.

It was a fun winter stop. The food was really nice. Staff was responsive and the bathroom was serviceable.
Vegetarian options: Veggie dogs and veg tacos had enticing choices. We liked the burrito a lot!
Dietary restrictions: They were able to accommodate extreme celiac sensitivity.
Parking: In the same lot as another business but is separate.
Kid-friendliness: Families would enjoy this place.
Wheelchair accessibility: Possible but not easy.

The food was alright, but they were out of half the ingredients on the menu. The atmosphere was dirty as there was fruit flies everywhere, a literal booger on the table, and the were black chunkies in my glass of water. The service was horrible as the server did not clean any of the tables in between customers and she hid in the back when there was a line up. 5$ for a cold mocha that tasted like dirt. This place used to be really good but has definitely gone down hill. Shoutout to the chef as he was running around actually trying , but the fact they only had half the ingredients on the menu and they changed the portion size from the previous time we were here resulted in the food being 2/5.

I’ll just get straight to the point
Sliders were half the size they were a year ago.
We’re out of Mac and cheese.
Only enough buns for one of us to get sliders.
Waitress had her earbuds in and was on here phone sitting in a booth.
The glasses were not clean there was little black bit at the bottom of mine and my friends water glasses.
Took forever just to get the bill.
If the food was cheaper and the place was cleaner I’d eat here again but until then don’t even bother
Went the first night (lights on, door open, 40 mins left til advertised closing) was told ‘sorry we’re closed) That tracked with the poor service reviews we read. So we went next door to Frankie’s (so good). BUT we gave them another chance a couple nights later and it was GReAT! Service was prompt and friendly, atmosphere is ‘hot dog beach shack’. Shared two different dogs, the chili and fries. All was delicious!! Especially the fries which kind of surprised us. Great options and fun food without a massive hit to the wallet. The people next to us had the chili/cheese fries and I regret not getting that. So, I guess it’s hit or miss here - it was November in Ucluelet so I guess they just close if it’s not busy, staffing might be an issue. Anyhow, they redeemed themselves. We’ll be back!

It was busy and our food took a very long time. The coffee was ok. Our food was unique, tasty and we were pleased with the portions. If you’re going to permit dogs it would be nice if there was some enforcement of societal norms. Like leashes and not everyone wants to be greeted by a mutt.

Really cute restaurant, we had fish tacos and a Ukee hot dog which were both really good.

The food was okay. High priced but quality-wise nothing special. The service was slow and unmotivated. Ucluelet probably has better places to go.

Chilled place with great hotdogs. The Mac and cheese side was also excellent.

We found this place as we were looking for some dog friendly options. We were greeted right away, given the menus and told to pick a seat and he will be right with us. It was not busy, only two other tables were there. After watching the server spending 20 minutes flirting with the girls at the other table and totally ignoring us, he finally came over to take our order. It didn't seem like he is interested in working. I ordered the Tuna Sliders. The tuna was slightly on the dryer side but other than that they were flavourful and tasty. My boyfriend had the Korean Hotdog which was great. The food and drinks showed up in a timely manner, but the service could really use more attention. We weren't asked if we would like anything else. I sent my boyfriend inside to pay to speed up the process a little. All in all, a place with potential but lack of an eye for detail and service.

Ordered a Mac n cheese with shredded pork. It was left on the order table for a long time so I went to grab it myself. The Mac and cheese was cold and dry. The shredded pork was burnt and extremely crispy. We also ordered a coffee that took almost 30 minutes to come. Girl at cashier was friendly. The owner looks pissed off all the time. Expensive for really bad food. Would not recommended coming here

“Wait to be seated”
They do an amazing job allowing you to wait, kinda dropped the seating option. The 7 of us in our group had time however to explore the neighbouring menus and eventually found an awesome couple of guys at the Barkley that made the glitch in our afternoon worthwhile.

Waste of a trip. They have NO vegan options any longer. They looked at me like I was from another planet.
