I wanted to like this company since they are local and convenient. However, their food ranges from mediocre to unedible. I gave them an honest try by ordering more than once in case one of the things I ordered wasn't my taste. I was surprised at all the 5 star reviews and wanted to leave a review so other people can be warned before they place an order.
Edit: After reading the response from the company, I am adding to my review. No one from the company tried to reach out to me. It's disappointing the approach they took to a negative review was to lie.

We had heard such great things about 2 Guys With Knives and were excited to give it a try. Our first meal absolutely blew us away - it was delicious, fresh, and full of flavour. We were genuinely excited for more.
Unfortunately, after the first week, our enthusiasm started to fade. The meals began to feel repetitive, with similar flavour profiles across different dishes. One time, I received mashed potatoes that had a glue-like texture, which was quite off-putting.
The final straw was a meal from our second-week order. My partner finished it but the next day he ended up with what seemed like a stomach flu and had to stay home.
We love the concept behind this company, and we truly wish it had worked out for us - the convenience and health focus are exactly what we were looking for. But sadly, the inconsistency in food quality left us disappointed. We hope to see improvements and wish the team all the best.

When I had surgery recently, I received the most amazing gift of two weeks of food from 2 Guys With Knives so that I would be well-fed with healthy food while recovering. I'm absolutely certain that this tasty, healthy food played a significant role of my recovering so well; it certainly made some tougher days more enjoyable, as the food was both delicious and super healthy, requiring minimal effort to prepare at a time when my vitality was low.
It was amazing to experience what an energy saver and boost it was to have my food taken care of during this difficult period. Of course the food is amazing for anyone - certainly for busy people who want to take care of their health - and it's clear to me that for new parents, people who have moved, people recovering from illness/surgery, having healthy delicious food like this is an incredible support... a great gift to consider for loved ones!

I was a new customer ordering from 2GWK and my second order was stolen 1 min after delivery. We immediately contacted customer service to see what could be done about replacing the meals or getting a credit/refund for future use. I ordered a total of 14 meals and the company offered to provide 8 of the same meal because that's what was in inventory that day. I asked if I could order another day since I didn't want the same meal every day. The company refused to provide credit or a refund - I would have been open to a partial credit. I enjoyed my first week of meals and would have been a returning customer if they offered some flexibility. Instead, I will never order from this company again. Given the high chance of theft since their trucks are being followed, I would not recommend this company. There's many other options with better customer service. Bad business

We had a small issue that had happened and they handled it very well. We are now ordering for our lunches and dinners. 😂

I’ve been ordering from 2 Guys With Knives for many years. Always been happy with the quality and nutritional profiles. Recently, they did a menu revamp which resulted in new menu items, as well as macro changes to their existing items.
This turned out to be a double edged sword. On one hand, I’m happy with the company keeping things new and fresh. On the other hand, the macros for some items on the new menu are EXTREMELY BAD. 1,250 calories and 19 grams of protein, 1,120 calories and 52 grams of protein are just two meal examples. A dessert cookie was also 720 calories and 12g of protein. At this point, I could eat at McDonald’s or Crumbl Cookie and be able to hit my calorie and protein goals much easier while also saving money. Isn’t 2GWK supposed to be “healthy” meal delivery? Well, these macros say otherwise.
I’m happy with their service and quality (always top notch!) but these new extremely high calorie (and low protein) meals have really made me look into other options. I’ll never be able to maintain/cut weight and build muscle eating these “healthy” meals with worse macros than fast food. Would’ve given 5 stars but this new menu has resulted in 2 stars.
The meals are absolutely delicious, the delivery service is really good to!! Had a great experience and I will definitely keep ordering more meals more often now!

I am just fascinated how a meal prep can be just designed according to my allergies and intolerances! The treats!? Just delicious as the main courses! I do encourage you for at least to try, cause they have different menus every week and you got to pick which one is your favourite that matches with your preference. I’ve made 3 orders so far, the food and service is outstanding. I’m an ultra picky eater and I also have a lot of food intolerances to manage, I cant believe how great their menu has been for me. Portions larger than the other companies I’ve tried and it really does stay fresh for a full 7 days.

2 guys with knives could give lessons on how to run a business. Their food is excellent but is almost overshadowed by their superb customer service. The meals are restaurant quality and well priced and thr fact that they have the macro and calorie breakdown is an added bonus for anyone who is tracking their food intake.
