I wanted to introduce this restaurant today. Didn’t expect to find a place like this in a neighborhood mainly known for its gyms, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The menu is a mix of Cantonese stir-fry dishes and classic cha chaan teng items, plenty of variety.
What caught my attention today was their claypot rice. The restaurant itself is comfortabl e and spacious. The food quality is good, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable.
I ordered the chicken claypot rice with lily bulbs, wood ear mushrooms, and shiitake. The flavor was decent, though not exceptional. My only suggestion is to increase a bit the oil or water at the bottom to create a larger, more complete layer of crispy rice. The crispy bits were there, but a bigger, more solid crust would make it perfect.
The set also included a traditional Cantonese slow-boiled soup and Hong Kong-style milk tea. The milk tea was good, and the soup was excellent, full of ingredients like pork bones, chicken feet, dried tangerine peel, and peanuts. Very authentic.
For a small additional charge, you can add Hong Kong-style French toast as dessert. It was quite good, but deep fried it Longer would make it my ideal version.
Overall, it was a solid meal, and I’ll definitely return to try more of their dishes.

All six of us found the soup to be very salty. One person had the Portuguese chicken and found it very salty. The lamb is rubbery. I can feel powder in what is supposed to be the fish batter.
The beef stir fry, mushroom with veggies, garlic spareribs, Hainan chicken are ok.

My partner ordered a cream of mushroom soup. You get Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom condensed soup with a piece of toast. The price is $9.95 not including tax and tip yet.

In terms of price, the food quality is reasonable, the environment is good, and it's a great place for friends to gather.

Comfort food place! We ordered a stone pot rice with chinese sausage and greens, and a pork chop baked rice. The stone pot rice was yummy but we used some extra soy sauce on the side for flavour as it was purely just white rice beneath the first layer. The pork chop was good but lacked some flavour and was not saucy enough. However the portions were giant and we were sooo full and satisfied! It’s not the best hk cafe food i’ve ever had but it’s definitely a solid 3.5 as a neighborhood staple. We also got a hk style french toast, which was a 5/5. Drinks came with the combo and was yummy (lemon iced tea and hk milk tea). Service was super friendly and sweet!

Vegetarian options: I ordered just before the last order taken and ordered a simple one dish which was a deep fried spicy tofu. The food taste terrible due to being burned nd having to deal with rude personnel. Never go back nd support their business ever again for not having good customer relationship.
The environment is average, the food is average, but the charges are not affordable.

Wanted to make my 1st review for this very good food & services cafe.
Before entering the cafe, reading all the reviews got no expectation. So no photos.
We ordered stir fry noodles, sandwiches milk tea and lemon tea.
All were fresh. The sandwiches were very good. The noodles were not too oily nor salty, ordered mini size but enough. Milk tea was good. Prices ok.
Services were exceptional good too. Asked if food ok, how was it. Very nice indeed.
We were no relation to it. Just wanna to reverse others ; this cafe is a gem. Don’t over demand a cafe to be a Michelin one. Value for money. Will be back.

The waitresses are very kind and care about your needs, they ensure your needs are dealt with as soon as possible. The food is awesome I generally eat the Beef Broccoli Chow Mein. It is flavourful and can comfort anyone. All the 1 star reviews are from people with the wrong tastebuds. Keep going!
