The staff is so sweet and the food is too good. I came here to surprise my boyfriend on his birthday and they totally helped me with that. Must recommend for these kind of occasions.

Their matcha and hojicha is high quality and delicious! I especially LOVED their hojicha cheesecake, and I’m not usually a fan of classic cheesecake. It was the perfect balance of sweet but not too sweet (iykyk), and the hojicha really helped balance this by adding a slight nutty bitterness. The sweetened matcha and hojicha lattes were both creamy, rich, and had strong flavours. The iced strawberry matcha latte with oat milk was sweet and fresh, but I think it would probably taste richer with regular milk.
I also enjoyed the omurice for breakfast. The egg was cooked perfectly and the chicken fried rice (?) inside has so much flavour, it’s delicious and filling.
The atmosphere of this cafe is family run, very quaint and relaxing, I saw people working on laptops and reading. I can see myself sipping a hot latte again on a cold rainy day. I absolutely will come back to try their other desserts or have more of their cheesecake!

Such a lovely Japanese cafe just off the busy part of Denman Street. Lots of options on the menu, including some nice matcha, teas and coffee. Definitely recommend the omurice if you have the chance to try it. The inside is spacious and nicely decorated—one of my favourite places in the West End.
