I love A Bread Affair. Every time I visit Granville Island, I stop here. The bread smells amazing and tastes even better. They have a great selection, and everything feels fresh. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Definitely one of my favorite spots.
A Bread Affair makes excellent food, always fresh, flavorful, and high quality. Unfortunately, during my last visit the cashier at the front had very noticeable body odor, and it wasn’t just me who noticed, other customers around seemed uncomfortable as well. When working in a food establishment, especially while serving customers, maintaining personal cleanliness is really important.

I’m a carnivore, but even I have my secrets. When I cheat, it’s only here, and my wife doesn’t need to know. Their cheeky bread, baguettes, and croissants are worth every stolen bite, made with real ingredients and, I believe, none of that fortified flour. Maybe that’s why it doesn’t seem to bother me, or maybe it’s just true love.
