I live in the neighbourhood so I've eaten here half a dozen times. They have a vegan breakfast bowl that is really good and my husband always gets the smoked salmon eggs benny. He's very particular about getting the eggs very soft and they've always been perfect. The restaurant is always very clean and the wait staff are great.

This place was over priced and not really that good. I got the salmon Benny and it had guacamole on it and not fresh avocados. It tasted like the premade avocado spread from the store. The side of potato's was the highlight and you didn't get many of those. My friend got the greens as her side and I tried a bite and there was basically no flavor. For the rest of our stay at the blue horizon we eat else where. The waitress was alright, but not super attentive. The vibe of the place kind of felt cold like a hospital not cozy, cute, modern or fun. I would maybe try dinner here before completely writing it off.

A great restaurant to start the day with a very good breakfast. We stayed at the Blue Horizon Hotel and the restaurant is right next door, so we came there for breakfast. The selection of prices is very large and everyone will find what they are looking for there. The service was very good and the employees were very friendly and attentive. My wife and I were in Vancouver for a few days and found Abode. Breakfast three days in a row was just excellent. Marianne was a wonderful server and all the staff we interacted with were very pleasant and helpful. Washrooms were well appointed and clean. Highly recommended.

Clean and friendly place.Our order arrived quite quickly. Our server was nice and efficient.We ordered waffles and French toast for kids which were both quite reasonable sized portions. The mushroom hash had tofu and potatoes and was dressed well. My husband enjoyed his spinach omelette.

I had breakfast here twice during my stay. The resto is very clean, the staff helpful and so polite. Food was amazing. Best poached eggs I’ve ever had. Heinz la and fruit is also a great meal in itself.
We had brunch here while staying in town for the weekend. The food was delicious. Prices were very reasonable for brunch too. Better than a few other places we looked at in the area. Would recommend!

Not worth it. Eggs were cold, toast was greasy, portions are small. Service is good but that’s about it. If you re looking for a good breakfast place, head to Le Petit Belge on the same street. It is a hidden gem and worth every penny.
