I've been looking for a light roast espresso and finally found it from Agro. They have two light choices I tried: the Roasters Choice and the Equinox. The Roasters Choice can get acidic if drinking straight up and not brewed at a slightly higher temp. If you like straight espresso and don't have a machine with adjustable brew temp, I wouldn't recommend it. But for milk based espresso drinks, the Roasters Choice is amazing. The Equinox has no noticeable acidity so great to drink straight up even with a non brew temp adjustable machine.
This is a wholesale set up that does retail sales so no fancy storefront. The best part is they have very fair prices for the quality of beans.

They exceeded all my expectations! The prices are better than almost every other roaster I’ve tried, and the quality is outstanding. The beans are roasted fresh, and even though I’ve only tried one variety so far, it was enough to win me over. Incredibly happy with the beans. Canada post had initially lost my package a week ago and Agro Roasters resent me new ones (super grateful 🙏🏼). Just tried the Peru decaf and it’s delicious. Better than other decafs I’ve tried so far. Thank you guys for everything!
These guys are the gods of coffee in Vancouver! The combination of quality, price and customer service is just not remotely matched by any other roaster. I go through a lot of beans and have tried most roasters in the lower mainland and some other ones across the Canada! Nothing comes close. Bonus, if you can just go to their shop and you get beans right out of the machine. Just doesn’t get any fresher than this. Thanks guys! Also their shipping fees are incredibly competitive!

I had such an exceptional cup of coffee at a local restaurant that I asked what bean they used and they told me Agro. I enjoy making coffee at home so ordered some beans. I normally always buy high quality beans so my coffee at home always tastes good but the coffee I have made at home with beans from Agro is the best I have ever brewed. I recommend using an Aero-Press and I promise that you will have the most delicious cup of coffee.
