23 minutes since payment to receive a teriyaki beef bowl. Unacceptable

EDIT in response to owner:

Oh, so when you say “everything’s made to order,” you mean you’re firing up a fresh pot of rice for every single bowl, right? Steaming each floret of broccoli one by one like it’s Michelin-level cuisine? Or do you just mean the prepped ingredients get tossed into a bowl when someone orders- like, you know, every other restaurant on the planet?

Funny thing, though - a bunch of people who ordered a good 10 minutes after me somehow managed to get their food at the exact same time. Impressive efficiency… or something.

I’m not usually one for hotel or office building coffee shops but I was in a rush and decided to try. I was impressed. My Americano misto was delicious with beautiful foam and the portion size on the breakfast sandwich was huge!! Not what I expected. I’m glad I didn’t order something else. I would have been too full. If this place was a stand alone and not tucked into a corner it be 5 star all day!!

They’ve got specialty latte/espresso based drinks, which was nice. We also enjoyed their breakfast croissant - recommended.

Very cute cafe, hidden gem in Vancouver. You can tell the owner cares a lot about the service and offerings. Vancouver needs many places like this.

Great bagel sandwich and juice. Long line and bunch of people but it went pretty quick. Great place to get a bite by convention center.

I have this Tofu rice, which is very flavourful and fresh. I will have to try out others on the menu again, very very soon.

🤢We live in this area so I,v tried most of the coffee shops around. This is the weirdest customer service I’ve seen, I came for a brunch with my son on a wheelchair, he ordered a beef sandwich that was literally stiff like a plastic he told the guy and he just said “Yeah it is”
????????

Horrible food, I ordered Roasted Beef Sandwich, the meat was super stiff & absolutely unbeatable, I throw it and told the barista as a nice feedback, he didn’t care at all!

I adore Aidan's. The coffee is great, the treats are amazing, and there lunch menu is well crafted and goes above your standard coffee shop meals. The staff at the West Hastings tower are always lovely and so cheery. I appreciate all the hard work and effort they put into everyone's experience at Aidan's!
