Pretty small selection. Which is funny from reading the reviews from the other restaurant that they are busy making things for the to go side.

Also to the young man working there. Dont give customers dirty looks ok? One day you might not have a job.

I tried their BBQ Salmon Bento (which on their website it seems to be called 2 Go Bento), and their BBQ Salmon Onigiri. The BBQ Salmon Bento was good, I liked the fair diversity of ingredients of the Bento, and I liked their flavour. Regarding the BBQ Salmon Onigiri, I really liked their size and flavour, the flavour of the cooked salmon was really good. About the restaurant itself, I liked how it works very well as a Takeout Restaurant, and the variety of options available for the ready-to-go service, and how they also offer the House Special Roll of their Sushi Bar as a ready-to-go option. The service was fast, friendly enough, and good. The atmosphere for a Takeout Restaurant was nice.

Small convenience store selling freshly made Japanese food and snacks

A tad bit expensive for what it is, but it's kerrisdale and rent isn't cheap... so I understand. The food is great, and I don't have to wait, so that's a plus. Good place to grab a quick bite

They have a high end sushi restaurant around the corner, this is where you get more affordable dishes. Staff are super friendly.

Decent, expected better. Smaller rolls than their main restaurant, less fresh but with the convenience. Always good service though.

Perfect pit stop when you have a hankering for very good sushi but you're short on time. They have a good selection of grab & go options made from the OG Ajisai/parent restaurant next door, plus tasty pantry and freezer goods.

Today, I bought my fourth roll. Compared to other places, I keep using it because it tastes better and more basic, but today it was salty overall.

The rice is good and service friendly, but besides that, awful. Quality of meat in particular is shocking.

I’m always put off by pre-made and refrigerated food but the rolls I got here could easily compete with fresh sushi bar quality. About $25 for 4 rolls and a drink including tip. Great price point, excellent quality and the staff were lovely.

I WILL NOT go to this restaurant, Sushi Bar Ajisai @Kerrisdale again. First of all, as many customers commented that they do not seat you until the whole party arrives, even though in cold weather days. We have 5 of us having lunch. One of us was very full and wanted to order 4 sets to share. They didn't allow it, so each of us needed to order one set, ended up we cannot finish it. The lunch set is $23 to $32, not cheap though. When the bill came, they had already ADDED 20% of TIPS without telling us. Firstly, if you didn't check the bill , you might PAY AGAIN the tips. Second, with such poor services , I don't know why I should pay 20%??? They told me because we have a group of 5. I went to other restaurants, they charged 18% tips for 6 or more people. My family member has even been forced to pay tips for takeaway. Ridiculous

I go to Fujiya regularly for to go sushi and bento boxes. In comparison, the price is a bit higher but the food is much more interesting in both flavor and ingredients. The inari sushi was awesome. Wish they had more locations in East Van.
