Great value, one of my favorite restaurant
Ordered on Amazon and restaurant decided to charge me extra money without asking if I consent first. Contacted DoorDash support and thankfully they were helpful and said the restaurant will be flagged and an investigation will take place as they did not go through the proper steps to charge me extra. Aside from the unlawful charges that took place without my knowledge, the sushi itself was poor quality and fell apart super easily. I ordered an avocado roll and a salmon and it was basically an avocado roll as it had barely any salmon. The side of ginger for two rolls was also 2 small slivers so in general they are just stingy and cheap.
I’ve been coming to this place for a long time for sushi lunch, and the flavor is always delicious and satisfying.
Most of the time, I order the bento box with chicken and salmon sushi—it’s amazing. Highly recommended!
Wow!! I had a fantastic meal at Ajiya sushi! The food was delicious and fresh, especially the sushi and tempura. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was really nice. I definitely recommend this place if you love Japanese food. I'll be back for sure!
My friend and I got the roll combo a.
The salmon roll tasted like it went bad….
The server said that they got their salmon in the day before. I asked them who their supplier was and they said it was confidential.
I asked for a refund, but they said since we took a bite we would have to pay….
I like to take chances on places with bad reviews, but this was truly awful.
There’s a bunch of better sushi places in the area
Such a great little restaurant! Our hostess was kind and attentive and the food was so amazing! I will be craving the Fantasy roll for months!

Best sushi that we keep coming back to online or in person. Reasonably priced and economical vibes in the restaurant which could use a little updating maybe but we like and it is clean and fast and incredibly good. Every time we try other sushi we compare it to Ajiya and so far Ajiya always beats every other place. This is not a place to come to and expect high class service as it is economically run by the owner and a small staff and it seems the negative reviews are from high maintenance people who expect so much while still paying so little, not fair in my opinion and so easy to disregard their opinions but when it shows up in the overall number out of 5 then definitely not fair. This should be in the high 4.5-5 rating restaurant and we will definitely keep going back.
Vegetarian options: We often order vegan and vegetarian options and I especially appreciate the tofu sushi which you can almost never find anywhere else. So many amazing choices.

I hate having to be here with a 1 star rating considering their food is good. But being a local working and living in the area, I have come to this place time and time again—and time and time again I was met with poor attitude. They should change the time they close to 9:30 because anyone coming in after that will be made feel uncomfortable for ordering off their menu even with 30 or 20 minutes remaining on their posted Open schedule with the giant flashing sign still saying OPeN.
I’m not here to drop a sob story’s but my week has been absolutely horrendous and my appetite was finally coming back to me only to get given attitude and told “no sorry” you can’t order even though there’s 20 minutes left before close.
I’ve worked in the food industry before. I know that I’ve worked for bosses who care about keeping their guests happy and making them feel welcome to the last minute they offer service. Clearly, some people in this store feel otherwise and would rather sigh and scream with body language and facial expressions of their displeasure to have to re-clean something they started cleaning early.
It’s fine, the people up the hill are better anyways and they’re always super happy to see anyone come into their little shop. I’ll be taking my money there from now on even if it’s blocks away instead of steps away from my workplace.

My rolls were falling apart due to being poorly rolled and the teriyaki don buri was simply chicken and rice… no onions, no harusame noodles. Very very basic… won’t go back

Delicious sushi at very reasonable prices. We ordered sushi and cooked items for pickup and, although it might seem like a small thing, I was very glad they bagged these items separately from each other. Our go-to when we're in the area!
The online ordering page wasn't working properly so I called to place the order.

Quality was good and staff was great. The prices were abit on the higher side compared to their competitors in the Japanese restaurant market in that area. Will still consider another visit down the road.
