Our staff had an outing here last night and the staff were so accommodating. The service was really great. The food was UNBELIEVABLE. Best pizza sauce I have ever tasted. I don't typically go out to pizza joints so I didn't know what to expect but they had two really great bottles of wine for us as well which was a nice surprise. We will 100% be coming back the next time our staff wants authentic Detroit pizza.

I was there for a fat lunch.. one man eating like a pig.
I ordered garlic knots and meatballs as starter and side [which are honestly a whole meal and you do not need to order pizza if you are having them.]
They were soooo freaking tasty. The meatballs were so tender and juicy, and its sauce was superb.
On the other hand, the pizza that I ordered [I can't remember its name, but it looked like a Pepperoni pizza] was very salty and oily. I honestly couldn't taste anything else when I was eating it.
The size and the amount of the pizza are large, and it can fulfill the belly of three people easily.
Overall, AJ's is one of the few good ones still standing.???
I will be back there soon.?

We ordered for delivery so we did not get the pizza in fresh atmosphere. The pizza sauce super good. Pizza bit soggy but think it's the delivery that did that. The margaritas came with a really sad amount of basil. Like not enough to give every piece . So that was a not great. Pretty expensive compared to what I'm used to but was good if I had gotten more basil. Hoping that was a one off because their have marg pizza on insta had more basil than our whole pizza got.

Seating is mostly aluminum bar stools which aren't comfortable. Pizza is amazing and service was excellent.

I had a good experience with AJ’s Pizza. Their pizza was really delicious, and I enjoyed the quality. However, when we visited, they were doing some renovations, so they only offered delivery. Unfortunately, it took quite a while for the pizza to arrive, but the wait was definitely worth it. If you’re looking for a tasty pizza, I’d recommend trying it. Hopefully, next time I’ll be able to enjoy the pizza in the restaurant itself!

Best Brooklyn slice in the city! The place can get pretty busy at peak times, and parking is sometimes difficult, but it's worth it!

Parking: Not a ton of Street parking, but I suppose you could park at Kingsgate Mall across the street also.

We came on a Saturday night for dinner. It was our first time but we knew the wait would be long because we have heard how good this place is.

We ordered the Roni Detroit and an 18” New York Pie half New York Supreme and half Juno’s Semi Spicy Fun-Guy. All 3 were delicious, and you can taste the quality in each pie, but I much preferred the Roni Detroit. It had a satisfying amount of cheese and pepperoni and a thicker crust which I prefer. The menu was a bit misleading by saying the Parmesan was a dip but the server informed us it’s a side of cheese and she recommended Caesar dressing for a dip.

The service was okay. Our server was attentive and on top of drink refills and informing us that our food wouldn’t be much longer after an extended wait (which we expected), but she had to come back because she couldn’t fully remember our order and we asked for two sides of Caesar dressing to use as dip but we were brought Caesar salads. That’s okay, it was loud.

The seating is very tight and uncomfortable, but overall I liked the vibe and the food. This place is definitely worth the hype. I’ll be back for that Roni Detoit.

One of the only spots I found for Detroit style pizza in the city. Didn’t disappoint. Will go back to try the NY style next!

Despite about a 45 minute wait on a Friday night, it was absolutely worth it! The service was quick and very friendly, and the food was incredible. We went for the smaller size Detroit style pizza which was perfect for a party of two. It was delicious and we are still dreaming of it weeks later. It was very easy to get here on the bus from downtown as well!
