One of the best in town
Clineu is an awesome dude; I met this cat on his break one day, and he made my day a brighter one. Pizza was 5-star and delicious, a must-try for everyone.
You are the best 👌👌👌
More than enough
Super great Detroit-style pizza! Picked up the red top for takeout and I didn’t know that they wouldn’t send a message when it was ready so I waited for a while and therefore the pizza was slightly cold. But as that was a personal error, I give them the benefit of doubt, and the pizza was still nonetheless really great! I can only imagine how good it would have been hot and fresh. The dough is perfection — super fluffy and spongy, and the crispy cheese crust is complimentary in both flavor and texture. I do wish there was a bit more sauce, however again it was great nonetheless.
Take out does take about an hour so plan a bit in advance! It was quite busy so service was a bit slow, but that is to be expected especially on a Friday. They also have a good amount of bar seating + tables so it’s a great place to be. Definitely recommend, and I am excited to return and maybe try some more menu items.
I just discovered what Detroit Style Pizza was after my friend ordered from this place, and now I’m obsessed. I haven’t tried Detroit style pizza anywhere else yet, but if it’s all cooked the way AJ’s does it, I’m moving to Detroit.
OK, maybe not. But AJ’s makes an incredible pizza, and I highly recommend trying it.
Regular slice is 7.8/10
Square slice is 6.8/10
They got beer. Lots.
Comfy cozy clean setting. Great service.
Would come back for a regular slice for sure.
Waited 55 minutes for my order to just realize they made my order wrong - then after the misunderstanding they asked for another 30 minutes wait time to fix it (no other solutions provided)
Just wasted an hour and gas for nothing! Great !
yummmmm pizza/pie was so good and so much sauce, i love deep dish and the hawaiian with the sweet pineapples was 10/10
caesar salad was also so delicious!
Definitely the best pizza in Vancouver.
I recently tried their Detroit-style pizza, and it was disappointing. The tomato sauce on top was cold, and spread unevenly, making each bite overly acidic. The dough was soggy and moist, lacking the crisp, airy texture you would expect from this style. The pepperoni was overcooked, with some slices burnt, losing the satisfying crunch that should complement the rich cheese and sauce. The crust, while ideally caramelized, was overly charred, resulting in a bitter edge. Overall, the presentation felt messy, with cheese unevenly melted and pulling away from the crust.

The service was terrible, they were rude to us, rushed us to order and were not friendly,
The servers were rude,
The food was soggy and cold.
Food is always great, but being up-charged over $4 just to add onions to a pizza on uber eats without the option to deny or accept the charge is crazy.
Great experience. Highly recommend recommend it.
Excellent pizza one of the best in town. Deep dish is best.
Friendly service, loved the garlic knots
