Amazing food. Cant get enough of their Pizza. There is a reason it’s always busy and the ambiance is unreal. The hot addictive. The beers perfectly chilled. Maybe the one of the best pizza spots in Vancouver.

Excellent pizza! (I got the New York style, I'm not a deep dish guy). Service was also excellent, very attentive. It was just so busy and hot and cramped in the restaurant. The smell from the ovens is insanely good and really adds something, but the heat was a bit too much to handle, especially in the confined space.

First time at AJ’s and it’s hands down the best Brooklyn-style pizza in town. It’s a bit of a hidden gem or say a hole in the wall. It was hard to find, with more of a beer pub vibe than your typical pizza place with pop of colours and posters. Service was attentive.

We tried the vegetarian, cheese, pepperoni, and Sicilian slices—all had a crispy crust with that perfect char my kids and I love. Toppings amounted to be not too much or less, and flavours came in perfect. It’s not soggy or skimpy.

I’d seen some reviews here saying the pizza was overcooked or the tomato sauce cold, but that wasn’t our experience at all—everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. Overcooked was probably for the Neapolitan pizza fans but this one’s different and it’s got burnt crisp crust and toppings and we love it. The Sicilian with pepperoni was a standout, and the hot honey dip took it to another level.

I’ve had pizza all over the world, and AJ’s is now one of our favorite. Can’t wait to come back and try the Detroit-style, next time!

Another one of those secret spots that you don't want anyone to know about because it's going to be lined up down the street next time you go. Amazing authentic Pizza, great service.

Love this pizza. Jersey Tomato Pie is some of the best pizza Van City has to offer.

We entered the restaurant, we were taken to the table, okay. We took a seat, our disability was a bit overlooked. We ordered a salad then pizza. Staff is busy which is understandable. We actually waited over an hour for our pizza that a staff didn’t even take our order when WE showed what we wanted to order the pizza on the menu. Secondly, why are you serving us with a rough metal plate? 1. No restaurant is gonna serve you with rough metal non-shiny plate. 2. I’m sure some people are sensitive with the texture of rough metal plate. Not to mention, their bathroom is quite dirty, it should not have any chemical cleaning products leaving on shelf if customer gonna use bathroom. Also, please provide the back support seat instead of stools. The staff could have double checked with the kitchen but we asked the staff because the pizza shouldn’t take so long to be made. They also take your order way more longer than takeout if you consider to dine in. Accessibility and awareness matter. I hope they are more considerable in future.

Do not order online, took nearly two full hours before the pizza was done “being prepared” for practically 50$ it’s absurd, hire more people it shouldn’t take that long to make a pizza.

Pizza was good, but if they’re going to charge an arm and a leg for pizza, hire more than one waitress. Went on a weekday afternoon and poor waitress was working so hard to keep up with everything. The prices for what you get is genuinely deplorable. Would never go back

Love the place, very busy and hard to get a table, but the pizzas were great. Not too many servers for the amount of people, but it all worked out. Great pizzas.

Got a cheese pizza and it’s been hit or miss lately. Sometimes the pizza is perfect with ample cheese and has a nice crunch with a bit of flop.
Other times (like unfortunately this order) it’s burnt with black marks and a jaw workout to eat. Sauce is 10/10 and the save and grace.
