Fresh catch of the day, seared to the right amount of crispiness. Excellent 10/10 service!
Al Porto was phenomenal. First time visiting and had an incredible experience. Highly recommend!
Terrible experience! The owner was extremely rude and even mocked our order. The food was disappointing — the carbonara was overly salty, and both the pizza and gnocchi lacked flavor. I would not recommend this restaurant. It's simply not worth your time or money.
Excellent meal and service. We have not been to this restaurant since pre-Covid. We highly recommend them.
This is a second visit here and we came back because of our first experience. If you don't see it on the menu, just ask. They will accommodate any combination.
The food was good but no one checked on our table after serving our food. The service was really slow and we had to wait a lot to grab a servers attention. Might not go back
The only restaurant I've literally walked out of. Worst service ever is an understatement.
It was one of the busiest nights of the year and our experience was great. Thank you for being so patient and welcoming. Valentines Day menu was amazing, so delicious and good value for money. Thank you everyone.
Server took order and never checked on us. We ordered lobster and asked for melted butter and the server brought cubes of butter and started to try to mush it up. I told him I'd like it melted for the lobster and he took it back like it was a hassle and came back with melted butter almost 10mins later - food was cold. The food was good but not great at all!!! There is great Italian in other places.
This place is a 20/10, the staff is extremely nice, Thomas gave us one of the best costumer services I ever had, he is seriously something different, the other staff was extremely nice too, the place is gorgeous and the food soooo delicious, we tried many side things but the risotto has my heart.

This restaurant had a rustic feel to it which was good. The pizza is straight up North American, so don’t expect authenticity. The pasta however was good, the seafood dishes were nice. The Chicken Parmigiana is really good. 9/10 recommended

Restaurant wasn’t in the best shape and I thought the food was too mediocre for the price. There are far more better places in Gastown for dinner. Server was also condescending and quite inattentive.

Worst experience with a waiter I’ve ever had anywhere. Not attentive at all, which is crazy considering we were one of three tables with people sitting at them, when we needed anything such as more water, napkins, bread, we would have to ask other waiters. When we wanted to pay, took us 10 minutes to flag him down to get the bill only to sit there waiting for him to bring us said machine to pay him. Another waiter had to let us know he was coming with the machine as we waited so long we thought we had to pay at the front. My friend at my table tipped 1 dollar for the bad service, he blew up on us saying “You shouldn’t dine out if you tip that little” and “Now I have to pay for your meals” When my friend confronted him with “My restaurant doesn't do it like that” He replied snappily saying “Well where do you work? Never heard of it.” Crazy to expect a good tip with shitty service. He made over 20 dollars in tips with 5 people combined. I suggest he buys some deodorant with his money!

Server was condescending and complained about an ‘insulting’ tip. The restaurant was quite literally empty and we had to get service from the support staff because of your inattentiveness. Food was fine. There are so many better Italian spots in Gastown - don’t go here.
And @ management, treat your workers better if they’re supposedly having to pay out of pocket for customers’s meals if they don’t tip 18% or more.
