Amazing food! We picked this place as we wanted pizza and pasta and it's a small place in Yaletown. However I had the best tomato soup and very delicious pizza and pasta.
It was great! The manager served us (apologies , I didn't get her name) and she was super nice and attentive. It was my first time there, but will be coming back.
This is a nice family run place. I had the Happy Hour nachos which came with fresh guacamole! We also had the mushroom pizza and fettuccine with chicken. We really enjoyed the service and food. The prices were reasonable for downtown, and they have many specials.
We had a delicious meal at Alchemy Bar and Kitchen and will definitely be returning so I can other items from their menu. The service was excellent, the cocktails were very tasty and the food delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family.
Everything here is awesome!
The meals and desserts are delicious.
And the server Sandeep is nice and friendly ❤️

We came here for a late late dinner last night and they were busier than we expected they'd be, but they quickly accommodated us, they were so hospitable! It was our 1st visit ever and it definitely won't be our last (even though we live in the US, we do visit at least once a year). Our server, Sandeep, was very professional and he made sure our entire visit was a pleasant one. I had the pizza, which was absolutely delicious, and their signature drink, the Alchemist, which is now my new favorite drink anywhere. My husband had the gnocchi and said it was absolutely perfect. My son had the ribeye and enjoyed every bite. I wish we had room for desserts, maybe next time. Our one and only complaint was the canned soda. We wouldn't have ordered it if we knew that it was in a can, maybe add that to the menu? My husband likes his refillable soda during dinner and didn't get that. Thank you for a great evening Sandeep. We will absolutely be back the next time we are in Vancouver! Oh and the place is small, so reservations are strongly encouraged. We didn't think we'd need one at 8:30pm and they were very busy even at that hour.

I was really looking forward to trying Alchemy, but unfortunately my experience was far from enjoyable. First, the food didn’t arrive at the same time, which was frustrating. My friend’s pasta came out, and mine didn’t arrive until about 15 minutes later. I had to actually speak to our server to figure out what was happening, which shouldn’t be necessary in a restaurant of this level.
The second issue was the service itself. There simply weren’t enough servers working. It genuinely felt like the owner was cutting costs by scheduling minimal staff. There was basically one main server dealing with a full house, and as a result, everything was slow and chaotic.
Finally, the quality of the meal was disappointing. The mussels tasted far from fresh, and I honestly struggled to enjoy them. The pasta was just “okay”—I’d give it a 6/10 at best.
To be fair, they did remove one pasta from the bill as compensation, but even with that gesture, the overall experience fell short. I left feeling dissatisfied and wouldn’t return based on this visit.

Try their Pasta Nights on Monday and Tuesdays! We went on Monday night where pastas are $16.95. We tried the seafood linguine and beef gnocchi which were decent, more peppery, not too salty. Portions were not super big we weren't super full. Service was also nice. However, parking was really expensive and hard to find.
Overall, decent restaurant and would come for the Pasta Nights but probably not the regular menu nights.

The pizza is amazing, especially the truffles mushroom pizza which smells great and tastes amazing. Atmosphere here is great for couples and the service is so friendly that’s hard to find any other restaurants as friendly as them. Price is also reasonable considering the location.
I will definitely come here again.
